|  I got a job!! So- long story short- a teacher at the school I was at in the Spring took another position leaving 6 lines available (full time both semesters). he emailed everyone in the English department to let them know and then emailed myself and another teach to watch for these openings to be posted- so we could apply. Well- doesn't the principal of the school call me today and offer me FULL time semester 1 and one class semester 2!!!! I was BESIDE myself! I had really resigned to the fact that I would be supply teaching this fall but this IDEAL! (well other than my parents are going to Florida for 6 weeks- I will get to be with them for 2 but then I am heading home and leaving Layla with them for the remaining 4- can't even imagine the tears that will be shed at the airport- anyways). I have one grade 9 academic english and 2 grade 11 university englishes! I just LOVE how things come together! |

| Congrats!! I have a lot of appreciation for teachers. In the US teachers are overworked and underpaided.
