Alot of times the abuser will tell the abused it's their fault. Is he saying it's her fault because she doesn't love him, or he doesn't feel she loves him? No excuse Mel. There has to be more to it. I have to wonder if she doesn't help push him along from a distance, such as over the phone. That way she has proof and might get more in a settlement? The child is security that she will get money from him no matter what. |

I don't know if he has sons, I just know he and his ex wife have several children. None of which have ever gone public. Fear? Threat of harm or cut off money if they did? Or simply no reason to.......... Did his ex wife want that many kids or were they his idea? Would he allow her to use birth control due to his religious beliefs? I hope his children male/female all see how wrong this is and choose a better way of life. |

I suspect that Mel has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Not that I have much to go on, but the kind of fame and success he has achieved is very difficult to handle without massively inflating your ego, to the point where you think you are more than mortal. And the kind of rage he's expressing, seems very like a narcissistic rage. Of the many sad things about this is that narcissism is very hard to treat. They either think they don't need help, or hate themselves so much that they believe they are beyond help. Maybe this huge amount of negative publicity and possible jail time will force him to work on himself a bit. |

He has twin sons in their late twenties...one already has a DUI under his belt and the other went to rehab for cocaine and alcohol addiction. :( |

I was never all that crazy about Mel Gibson (ok, except for Braveheart) but I did admire his movie, Passion of the Christ. I find it hard to reconcile the beauty of that movie - with this ranting fool I'm hearing on TV lately. |

Well, last night on ET, they played the latest. Turns out he threatened to burn down the house down because instead of her being in the jacuzzi waiting for him (to give him a BJ), she had the temerity to be in bed snoring. Now, we know he has a bona fide reason for his anger. I mean, come on. Considering the fact that he puts out all this money, a roof over her head, clothes her, feeds her, etc.. and she can't even stay awake long enough to provide the very services he pays for. Poor poor Mel. I mean I get it now..... NOT! |

I finally heard some of the audio of Gibson's despicable rants. What happened to his accent? I know this is a minor complaint in light of all of his disturbing behavior, but I'm annoyed that he turns up the Aussie accent for public appearances. |
What I find very disturbing is the number of women who are defending him (not on here). Women calling the radio show that aired this defending him; a co-worker at work, etc. Shocking:thumbdown There is absolutely no defense to this kind of garbage! |
Really? What do these women say in his defense? He admitted to knocking his wife's teeth out, while she was holding their baby, and he threatened to kill her! How do you defend that? |
I want to know too what these women say in Gibson's defense. Makes me wonder about their relationships. |
