| Kodak Easyshare I just got a kodak Easyshare DX7630. It is awesome and came with a printer dock. I got it on Ebay!! I love it. It takes awesome pictures, you also have many different options... can even take pictures at night... it was dark tonight and I took some pics of those poor puppies in the parking lot... if you want to see the pictures I posted them under this thread Sad Puppy Story... it is one of the last replys on that post. It takes Great Pictures!! I Highly Recommend!! And it is pretty easy to use!! |

| I can take "night pictures" with my330 also.. Mine has a Beach setting, Snow, Fireworks, Self Portrait and Black light or and forgot a special setting for children. I use automatic for alot but I am going to stop that and start using more of the setting because when I do, they are nicer.

| The best place (imo) to buy memory cards is definitely eBay!

| WalMart has a great selection of Digital Camera's online for all prices, I recently purchased a Fujifilm for $147 online, it was higher at the store.

| The Fireworks setting on the Easyshare, Is not so swift!!! I ended up futzing around on fourth of July and found a different setting worked better for fireworks then the fireworks setting. DUHHHHHHHHHHH I can't remember which it was now

| Ebay and they are not going to sell it to you anyway (camera that is) if you're a first time buyer without a reputation by buying smaller things to build up your rep. I know lots of people who have great luck with ebay now that they have been on it for years. Our member Suzaronni has done well for years using ebay. I think the memory card would be a good choice to start out with but I only know a little about it and there are books full of info.

| *Well I bought the Kodak, I know for those of you that are not fond of it, sorry, but the people there kept insisting on this one. It is the Kodak Z700, it has 5X optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, they claim that Canon is good in SLR but for digital they still have a ways to go. will keep you guys posted!!Thanks for all the help!! |

| congrats on the new camera I also got a great Canon SD400 Digital Camera, and it isn't lacking anything or have ways to go. It's a 7.1 megapixel, (anything over 4 is fine) and it is a LOT better than my friends Kodak. I got it from the great recommendations from YT as well! (thanks again Valerie!) |
