I think if the right people were suspended, it would cut down on a lot of problem. But as was posted some people know how to stay just within the line.

Also it is very ciommon to see several people, gang up on one, so spread between the several, it does not make anyone look bad, but the lone wolf is trying to defened themselves from the pack and end up not thinking straight and post one wrong word. which is just what the pack is waiting for and the whistle is blown instantly and the person is suspend. Almost like it was planned.

how do you know the right people weren't the ones who were suspended? as was stated before you do not know what was deleted and what went on in PMs. i trust admin and the mods know what they are doing.

But, Jeanie what right people would be suspended. Isn't that dependent on which side of an arguement a person is on that would contribute to their judgement on who are the right people to be suspended.

As far as your description of people ganging up on one person. I really don't buy it. The internet is such a wonderful tool to hide behind, you have time to collect your thoughts and control your anger. You have the option of walking away from the situation for a while. In other words you lose cool you lost war.

First of all Mod and Admin look at every angle of a situation. What seems so obvious to us, really isn't the whole picture... we think both should be suspended or more than two, depending on the situation. These two people disect everything and look at it logically from every angle. It's just not that easy of a job. But, it is easy to be a Monday Morning Quarterback

I've seen it happen so fast that no one had time to disect anything. it all depends on who end out the redflag.

I have seen the set ups. The build up, starts with just two people, then one side recruits another, and another, and the poor lone wolf is cornered, then they start to egg them on, waiting for them to lose control. One wrong word and poof they are suspended in a matter of seconds.

No Monday morning quarter back, been on the playing field, saw the whole thing, more than once. left me sitting there saying What the heck just happened.

Next thing you know all of the posts are gone. From what I had observed, all parties involved should have been suspended, but as it was pointed out, some people know just where to draw the line. And when the comments are spread out among several it doesn't make any one person look too bad.

:thumbup: The Mod and Admin really do a good job here. You could not pay me to listen to what they listen to on a daily basis. I think they have managed this site extremely well.

People DO need to start learning to walk away. Once you lose your cool, it's over as you said. And, that is when people get banned...they simply do not know when to stop and they end up crossing the line.

You are kidding right? Do you really think people set things up to get people going? :rolleyes:

I get people egging me on all of the time and I simply refuse to bite. I have been called a dog thief, a bully and other unsavory things....and have not been banned because you know what....what a person says does NOT make it so. You just don't give people that kind of power.

I have also been accused of calling my friends to get on YT. That is actually the most ludicrous thing EVER and anyone who knows me knows that is not my style. If I have something to say, I will stand all by myself and say it! I cannot imagine spending that much time on the internet to be honest....to plan a gang war? Please. :rolleyes:

I'll be honest, I see people who I believe repeatedly violate the rules, if not in letter, then in spirit, and I think they deserve to at least get a warning or something.

At the same time, no one can MAKE you post something that gets you suspended. Just like you can't make other people post more to your liking, as much as we might like to sometimes, they in turn cannot control your posts. If you are getting angry enough that you are tempted to write that "one wrong word", it's time to turn off the computer.

You are so right.....I've seen Admin and Mod be so fair, they've bent over backwards.....and I've seen it in past and recent cases. I know they've monitored people over months, given them every benefit of the doubt. Some have been allowed over the alloted Suspensions and not be banned. It's the gravity of the situation. And whether these people have caused problems in the past.

But, again every one has their perspective on the situation and it is based on what side of the arguement they are on.

Oh! Argumentative Ladyjane.....next time I want an intelligent debate, I'll call on you.

only you have control over what you post. If there is something going on that you don't like and it really makes you wanna say something you know you shouldn't then its time to get up and walk away. there have been many times where i have written something out and then deleted it and left the thread. its just not worth it.

Truthfully I think that saying 'she started it' is very childish. Be the adult and say'okay, you say nasty thing, so I be the grown up and FINISH it!'

Besides, it's more satisfying...Nothing annoys people who crave conflict/dislike you than indifference. Eventually these types show themself for who they is anyway, and you come out clean because you was mature person.

yeah you can play two ways. instead of the shooting the guys that are all packed at the top of the screen, the guys are in a ball in the middle of the screen and it rotates 1/4 each time you take a shot
