Menopause Guynecologist (Really spelled gynecologist) Menstrual His-terectomy (hysterectomy) |

Hubby wanted us to ask dr for all generic drugs to save money. I told him my estrogen would be what ever worked even if high dollar. When I first started my job they were trying to regulate my hormones after a hysterectomy. I had to have a fan blowing on me cause of hot flashes. Very embarrasing. I sometimes forget to take my meds, but then I get night sweats. To me though there were no negatives about the hysterectomy. No periods out weigh the cons. |
Oh my word!....The short term memory is terrible.......All my jacket pockets have slips of papers in them, they're lists for the stores.... many, many lists....I never had to do that before!...... I opened the cupboard and tried to put the milk in it.....I took a bottle of pills out of the cupboard and put them on the island ( or so I thought I did) I did a couple of "pick ups" and "put aways" and went to go back to the pills and they where gone.......I looked for ten minutes before I found them in the trash can....WTHeck!..... I found the phone in the eaves trough (ooops!)......My keys where left in the ignition... they where there over night.....and I spent a good part of the day wearing one slipper (I started looking for the other one then someone called me to do something else and I didn't quite get back to looking for the slipper)..... |
that video is sooooo funny. today it would actually be fun to try. :D |
I went to the drug store, parked, got out, closed the door, which was locked and realized that my keys were still in the ignition, with my car running!!!! Thank goodness for AAA. Hopefully this is kist me trying to do too many things at one time. |

Oh, how funny.... How can one not respond to such a funny title? Ha. Love the video, too. The Good (for me at least).... Not more cramps after all those years of misery. Whoohoo! |
Vitamin D has helped me with the hot flashes, nothing like running the heater at my feet and the fan on my face at the same time while at work! But I heard about vitamin D on the Dr. Oz show so I tried it and it works for me, now if I can only remember to take it... lol |

I have lost my keys, misplaced my purse, put cold foods in the cupboards. My house is up for sale so I am constantly putting things away in a "safe place", one day when I move and this is all over I hope to find them... I cannot believe how much I forget... First childbirth, now this..what do the men have to endure? I would give anything to see my husband get one labor pain or hot flash...:D I would go on but I forgot what I was going to say.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE :ghug: |

The video was just too funny.... and boy can I relate to it. 10 years ago I had a ovary rupture and bleed internally for 2 months, needless to say by the time they got in there to figure out what had happened... everything had to come out, hysterosalpingo-oophrectomy; uterous, tubes and ovaries. Was a little crazy the firts couple of months, but now, would not go back for all the money in the world. Do not do HRT, and do not do any meds. Your body eventually balances out itself and things are ok. |

Loved that video. Cracked up when it flashed to "war is not the answer" bumper sticker. Haha. |
Oh yeah memory loss !! Going into a room, and then whoaa, what was I going in for? Retracing your steps, hitting yourself on the head, retracking conversation, and YES I now remember!. Oh yeah locking keys in car, how the heck did I do that? We waited for hubby to pick us up from the park for 4 hours. lol. Me and the dogs, sitting on a park bench, I borrowed other folks cellular phones, to leave every more desperate messages for my husband. A day in the "free" park, cost $60.00 sigh. Thank God no more night or any other time of the day sweats. But sleep disturbances continue. Wake up at 2am fully awake, like okay time to get up! Or fall asleep at 3pm in the afternoon at your computer. So many things go south.... But there is some good things too... No more cramps, and kotex, tampax etc. |
