So Brett Michaels is in the ICU fighting for his life. He has a brain hemorage at the base of the brain stem.

being a teenager in the 80's and early 90's being in college I loved Poison. My husband and I went to the Poison Def Leppard show last September. It was amazing, I was so impressed that Brett still sounded so good.

Just wanted to post this for people who might be his fan and to ask everyone to say a prayer for him and his family.

So sorry to hear this, I've been watching him on Celebrity Apprentice, and was so surprised by his lack of ego, and his enormous creativity. This guy would have been successful in any field he chose. Very sad news.

Yes, he has a 10 year old and 5 year old. I wonder if this has anything to do with his diabetes?

I didn't know him from his Poison days, but I started respecting him when he was a judge on Nashville Star. He really struck me as a straight-shooter. I've been watching him on Celebrity Apprentice too, and it only confirmed my opinion of him. He just comes off as a genuinely nice guy.

I hope he comes out of this OK.

That's what I was wondering too, the diabetes will complicate things that's for sure. He seemed like he was nuts about his daughters.

He had gone into a rehab to aid in his recovery after his surgery because of his diabetes. This is very scary stuff as I am sure it is related to his being diabetic. Wow the base of the brain is what controls all of your functions like breathing, body temperature, etc.

Didn't he also have a daughter that passed away as a baby?

Don't really know much about him, when he was popular, I was raising a family, and was more into "The Carpenters"

Only know him from reality TV.

Well back in the day I had the mall hair and was at concerts for Poison, Ozzie, Ac/DC, Def Lepard, BonJovi

loved them all! They ALL had lots of hair back then

My friends older brother was in a band so on the weekends we all would go to the bars to watch them with our "IDs".

They covered all the hairbands, lived in "the cathouse" , and had groupies. Oh those are some crazy memories.

Wow, I've never really been a Poison fan, but watching Celebrity Apprentice, Brett is one of my favs, he seems to be an over all good person. I hope he recovers soon.
