| ![]() Hey QS have you ever used esnipe? It's a life saver and you don't have to keep checking back and forth. And it's sneaky bc people don't know you're interested in it.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() No, what's eSnipe? Does it submit your bid .0000001 seconds before the auction ends or something?

| ![]() Yes! actually 6 sec before, but you can custom your settings. eSnipe - Bid on eBay Automatically - eSnipe 3.0 You have to pay for their sevices, BUT only if you win, and it's only 1% of the winning bid price. You have to buy 500 bidpoints at a time, or more, which is $5. I think when you first join you get 2 weeks free (if they are still doing that), so bid away for 2 weeks! Won me a bunch of swag! HAHAHAHA!!! ETA: Oh yea, also this way, you can say, Ok i'm only gonna spend *this* much for it, instead of, oh what's a $1 more, and then go over your max. If the auction goes over your max before the 6 secs, it won't put in your bid and you don't get charged.

BUT, if some of the purses in the fourth picture start making their way on in a few weeks, I might just have to have a major lapse in judgment again. I looooove the orange. And I loooooove the blue one too. ![]()

| ![]() i was bidding on a velke for my husband on ebay (the wheel you ride on behind a commercial lawnmower) and we were SO excited cus we had it for $150 bucks - then 45 seconds before it ended, someone bid $175! ahh!! people DO wait til the last minute - literally. i loved the first handbag, btw. i just bought my puppy (named Cupcake by my kids) a collar with cupcakes all around it from ebay last week for 5 bucks - shipping and all. i missed the bid which totaled $4.00 shipping and all, but send a message to the seller and told them if they had another in stock i would pay 5 to skip the bidding and they agreed. EBAY can be wonderful, or a disaster! just depends on the person - as always! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Okay, WHEW. It looks like the second seller was wrong about the strap drop, and I think we're going to cancel the order. I got outbid on the third one. So now I just one the one I really wanted, #1. YAY! I can't wait to get it! I guess I'll take my eBay adventures from there.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() eBay is actually really good for stuff like LV wallets. Sunglasses, I don't know, I would want to try them on first. The second transaction has been canceled. WHEW. So I actually only got one item. Maybe this is a sign I should be doing this even more! ![]()

| ![]() Sweet, any suggestions on who I should get an LV wallet from on ebay? I don't want a knockoff lol. You know after just browsing through these forums I feel like my manhood is crying.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Come to zeee Dahk Side.... You'll have to be a little girly to stay on these boards. ![]() I think it's pretty easy on eBay to spot the real stuff (there is a bunch of both): the real stuff will almost always say, "100% guaranteed to be authentic". If the stuff is new, photos of the tags and label will usually be displayed. The seller should have excellent feedback, close to 100% positive, and the price should be somewhat in line with what you expect - maybe 50% off. If you do a search on "LV wallet", I'm guessing you'll see some descriptions that just say, "LV wallet, $5". That's a fake. Then there will be descriptions that say, "LV wallet, 100% authentic, new with tags, $xxx". That's probably real. You can also email the seller to verify if you're not sure. They should tell you emphatically that it's real. If they don't respond, it's fake (and if they lie, it's a breach of contract). Just so you know, a lot of these guys comb TJ Maxx and other discount outletters and buy up designer overstock in bulk... so you can cut out the middle man and do this yourself. Personally, I think it's easier to look online, but up to you. Hope that helps!
