| ![]() I personaly don't like the upside down tomatoes they seem to collect some kind of residue on the bottoms lol maybe I just did it wrong I love to plant in fact have started the sun flowers and pumpkins with the kids inside already but I just am not very good at it My answer is just plant lots and hope some make it |

I have always read that it is the green parts of the tomato plant that contain Solanine, which is the toxin. The fruit itself is ok as it seems to metabolize the chemical in its maturation process, but you are right, there are sooooo many things that we take for granted in the garden that are poisonous to our pups. I just love having your own lettuce around! Especially when you are paying $4 and $5 for it in the grocery store! LOL ![]() This year I have a mesculin mix that looks pretty interesting that I got from Seeds of Change. Cannot wait to see what it does. | |
