Any Dermajuve users out there ? (face cream) Has anyone tried this product ? it's called Dermajuv I researched it before buying..I'm on a pretty tight budget (ok - very tight) :(and never spend money on stuff like this but am hoping it lives up to the hype..... Lately I'm seeing signs of what's to come when you hit a certain age so I'm trying to take better care of my skin - The price was a shocker but from the reviews - it seems to be a good product - I've heard a product called Lifecell is good too but went with the Dermajuv - anyone out there using it ? I'd love to hear how it worked for you.... |
ok - re-phrasing my question - anyone have reviews on GOOD products or am I the only idiot that spent 129 bucks on something that may not help ? :p I don't mean Olay or any of those brands - just some thoughts from other women on what they use and like |
How about you take pictures now and in a couple of months from now so we can see if we want to buy it too. |

well - this is my thread posting and replying to myself but had to add an update......This stuff WORKS This morning after a shower - I noticed my face looked like I had foundation on and didn't...so I'm pleased with the product. I know lots of us are always on the lookout for good products for our skin and I'm one of those people that doesn't spend alot normally - but in this case - I'm glad I did :) |
I've not heard of it before, Vee....what's it supposed to do? You've seen results in this short of time, hmm? I've been using chemical peels (great, if you've got a weeks downtime) and a Dermaroller (for rejuvenation, increases collagen production, and for acne scars) also, Make-Up Artists Choice Super Vitamin C & E serum, Eyliplex-2, Smooth-365 and a sunscreen. If I'm religious about following through with my skin care routine, I do notice a difference in elasticity, texture, brightness and the few lines I've got. |
what did you get? the complete set, just a cream or serum? |

and to answer your question -Dermajuv is a 3 step system - a 'lifting' serum - age defying serum & moisturizer - (a really nice one) It says you have to use it 2 times a day and yes - in less than 2 weeks I really noticed changes. Before I ordered it - I read it's been talked about on Oprah and other shows that I never watch with very good reviews |
I too am always looking for something that works. What is it supposed to do and what difference do you see? Where do they sell it? It's nice to be able to "talk" to someone that actually uses something and can give a review, instead of reading reviews from who knows who.:) |

I started noticing the age thing and this product is designed to help reverse or help normal signs of aging and pretty much do what every other company touts.....I've been using Olay Regenerist and never saw any difference so started reading and reading about what kinds of products DO live up to their claims and have to say - so far so good (it took me about 3 weeks of reading before I ordered) I went straight to the site to order - I believe there's coupons also when you order - only 5% off but still - anything is better than nothing |
ps - one of the best reviews was from a gay guy who said that being in the 'club' scene it was VERY IMPORTANT for him to look young - I about fell out laughing reading that review - it was hilarious ! but it clinched me - you could tell it was a real person and hey - if gay men are claiming it's a great product - how could you go wrong ? :p:p:p:p I wish I could find that review - it was one of the best I saw |

Thanks for the info. I use Olay also, and feel it is really not working. I will check into this. It is good to hear from someone wether a product works or not. Thanks again!:aimeeyork |

As far as reviews - I just searched 'Dermajuv reviews' - the good and bad of course came up ....but all in all - most were postivie. They also offer a guarantee to return it if you don't like it. 2 weeks after using it I'm impressed. As I mentioned - after getting out of the shower the other day it almost looked like I already had makeup on - and I didn't. Plus those fine lines etc are less noticable and nothing I've used before has ever done this for me. I've been lucky in the wrinkle department considering I really never took care of my skin and spent years and years in the sun - but still - AGE will kick your butt :D |

Is this via a doctor or something you do at home ? (Edited to add) Cinq1964....I've been using the same thing - Olay is a good name but I never noticed one bit of difference after 6 months of use with Regenerist - |
Oooooooooooo, I love skin care :). I think some of the keys to a good skin care regimen is a good (genuine) retinol product at night (like Retin-A Micro or Green Cream), a C-E serum (like Skinceuticals ![]() And, I've always been super picky about facial cleansers, but this last year I discovered one that is not only non-soap, but also free of SLS, and it's just amazing....it's meant for people w/ eczema and sensitive skins (neither of which I have) but WOW -- my face has never felt cleaner...I just love it: ![]() But then...I finally broke down last fall and tried the Clarisonic Mia. I was so irritated when I saw this product on the market...I was all COME ON, seriously? Are you kidding me? But I kept seeing all these crazy-positive user reviews. I finally saw it on sale, and it was returnable, so more out of curiosity at the blazing reviews - I had to try it. And within the first few days, fine, it was indeed a wow. Amazingly clean skin, smaller pores (seriously), better absorption of products, and my skin was just glowing. Oh, and also -- my makeup (I use Aveda dual-powder) went on soooo different, easier, looked so much better. It's pricey little number, no doubt, and I was *sure* I'd be returning it - but now? NO WAY. It's incredible! I'll have to check out/look up the Dermajuv...do they say what they claim their key ingredients are, btw? One thing I look for in "aging" products too, is that the products/ingredients are backed by published studies, which always helps make me feel better when/if they're pricey :p. How fun that you found something that's working, I just love finding great products :). |

Home Chemical Peels Skin Care Acne Anti Aging |
Thank You Jen! Was the derma-roller on there? (I didn't see it ) And what kind of peel do you use? |
Quote:
I use the TCA peels, started w/12%, now I use the 21%. The dermaroller I got on Ebay. I've seen them on other sites (much more$$) but took a chance w/ebay and received the same roller as others were offering. It's ZGTS brand, I believe. My first roller broke after 2 uses, I emailed the seller and they replaced it at no cost, I didn't have to return the damaged one and it's still usable. |

Ann, if you haven't tried it and want something great for your body, try their 8% Glycolic/lactic acid body wash. After using it and then a good body lotion, my skin feels as smooth and soft as a baby's.....:D LOL...I sold my sister on the body wash....she loved it! Her 5 y/o daughter thought it was bubble bath and dumped half her bottle in the tub....expensive bubble bath...boy, was she ever soft though :p |
OK, ladies...have ordered the Dermajuv and a chemical peel. Let's see what happens later. Thanks so much! |
My shipment arrived today and tomorrow I will start. I hope I look as good as Vi |
