Ok - let's hear about your results ladies! I'm still nervous about the peels but I've got them bookmarked and waiting for me to hit "checkout"! LOL! |
OK, it has been only 5 days. I do notice redness better. Will let you all know later. |

OMG.. Like always, I miss the good threads.. I have to re-read and take notes on all these products...not that I need them now,.. but maybe many- many- many- years from now I will :D So many , or all, of these product I didn't even know existed.. |
my skin seems softer with the Dermajuv. Peeling? do you mean the peel or Dermajuv. |
I'm a peeler too, been doing a few series for over a year now........There was never a "Wow!" reaction after a peel for me. It's always been a very subtle and slow process for any results to show. The first thing I noticed was the texture looked smoother and the color evened out. All I can say is it's a process...... Good luck to all you peelers.......:) |
I'm trying the Dermajuv now but I have previously used peels. Did a series of 3 and you definitely could see the peeling and flaking. It peeled for about 5 days. It depends on the strength of the solution. |
Has anyone used this place to buy from? How about any of the body washes on this page? Or any suggestions on a good body exfoliation wash? I really want to try the peels but I'm a little nervous so I thought maybe I'd try the Green Cream or the Pumpkin Mask first. Any thoughts? 30% Gly Acid Exfoliating Body Wash and Peel - 8oz - Hornell, NY - Bonanzle |
C'mon ladies... more reviews - please :D |
Ladies... I was hoping to see some of you come back to give us updates. I'm really getting "into: this now. Ok, hubby bought me the Clarisonic Mia for Moms Day - I like it. It does make my skin feel cleaner but I'm not sure I can say anything else - just yet. Just got the Green Cream so I can't review it. Bought the glycolic body wash from the place that Jen talked about - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Wow! I could tell a difference on the first day but by the 3rd time I used it and put on a really good lotion - I couldn't stop touching my own legs! hahaha! I was too nervous to get the peel so I thought I'd start with the Green Cream and I'm thinking about asking my new Dr for some Retin A. I gotta start with baby steps :p So how is everyone else doing? How's the Dermajuve Villette? |

I just heard yesterday they are using botox to treat people that grind their teeth or with jaw pain.....wonder if insurance would cover that? I have jaw pain sometimes....usually when I've been talking too much.....;):) |
OK ladies...I have to bump this up and get some specific directions. After almost 20 years of marrage my husband decided he needed to moved out and "get his head together"...what the deuce does THAT mean? ANYWAY...now he's informed me he doesn't want a divorce and he wants to be friends AND he wants to date. This chicky needs an ego boost. I'm second generation Hungarian so my skin tans easily. For my age I don't have really wrinkles...a few laugh lines but no wrinkles...I don't think. ;-} Who's willing to help me pick products that will brighten my skin? Um, you CAN brighten 56 year old skin...right? PLEASE!!!! |

Honey, you need to bring out the big guns for this ego boost.....get yourself to a dermatologist for some botox and/or Restylane, also a professional peel would do wonders I'm sure :) Also, while you're at it....a nice spa day w/massage would probably make you feel much better, and when you feel good - you can look good!:) |

aww sorry :( yuck yuck! A spa day would be awesome!!! Ladies I highly recommend going to a dermo. They know what you need. I have no lines or wrinkles yet, I'm lucky in that regard. I am only 33 though. I went to a dermo finally because although my oily skin prevents lines & wrinkles and keeps great elasticity, it does cause acne! At age 30 I got adult acne. Its cystic and Im on meds for it now. But the meds really hurt my digestive tract and I had to come off them 2 months ago. I just got the ok to go back on them so I am starting back on minicycline once a day along with prilosec to coat my system. However, I have been using Differin gel for a good 3 months now every night and I use Clindomycin lotion 2x a day. I wash with Olay daily facial scrubs (recommended by my dermo) and Olay moisturizer with spf 15 each day and night. Mornings it's Olay facial scrub, clindomycin and Olay moisturizer and Night it's Olay facial scrub, clindomycin and differin. My pores have shrunk, my skin tone evened out, my acne scars are fading and the large bumps under my skin are shrinking. Its been an ongoing battle since December when I started the regimin and then having to come off the meds didn't help... but overall my skin looks SOOOO much better! I don't wear makeup anymore except to dot on a bit of concealer on some of the newer spots I get (right before my period usually). I also HIGHLY recommend sunglasses!!! I FIRMLY believe a good pair of shades that fit your eye area right and cover the lids, both lower and upper and prevent you from squinting into the sun, are the perfect way to NOT get lines and wrinkles around your eyes, like crows feet! I swear by my glasses, I wear ray bans now and spent a good deal of time and money on them to make sure they fit right and I wear them year round, summer, winter you name it. The right pair will start at the bottom of your brows and end at the top of your cheek bones. They should wrap around your eyes so you can't see sun from the sides. I stand by this that glasses are the cheapest, easiest way to avoid getting eye wrinkles! A good pair can run you maybe $150 but take care of them and they will last for years. Mine are already 3 years old! The ones I had before that were like 5 years old and I lost them in a river when I fell out of my tube. |
