Cinq1964....I've been using the same thing - Olay is a good name but I never noticed one bit of difference after 6 months of use with Regenerist -

Oooooooooooo, I love skin care . I think some of the keys to a good skin care regimen is a good (genuine) retinol product at night (like Retin-A Micro or Green Cream), a C-E serum (like Skinceuticals CE Ferulic or similar in the morning, a sunscreen in the morning, and right now I'm liking a moisturizer at night that contains niacinamide (like Regenerist or ProX).

And, I've always been super picky about facial cleansers, but this last year I discovered one that is not only non-soap, but also free of SLS, and it's just amazing....it's meant for people w/ eczema and sensitive skins (neither of which I have) but WOW -- my face has never felt cleaner...I just love it: Exederm .

But then...I finally broke down last fall and tried the Clarisonic Mia. I was so irritated when I saw this product on the market...I was all COME ON, seriously? Are you kidding me? But I kept seeing all these crazy-positive user reviews. I finally saw it on sale, and it was returnable, so more out of curiosity at the blazing reviews - I had to try it. And within the first few days, fine, it was indeed a wow. Amazingly clean skin, smaller pores (seriously), better absorption of products, and my skin was just glowing. Oh, and also -- my makeup (I use Aveda dual-powder) went on soooo different, easier, looked so much better. It's pricey little number, no doubt, and I was *sure* I'd be returning it - but now? NO WAY. It's incredible!

I'll have to check out/look up the Dermajuv...do they say what they claim their key ingredients are, btw? One thing I look for in "aging" products too, is that the products/ingredients are backed by published studies, which always helps make me feel better when/if they're pricey .

How fun that you found something that's working, I just love finding great products .

Lol, yes needles!, If you google dermaroller you will gets lots of info. It is used at home. Some doctors also use the roller, but the face has to be numbed first because the needles are fairly long!

Ann you are so lucky to be able to use retinol product, both Green Cream and Retin A turned my skin in to a mess, I had to stop using it. I do agree though, A good retinol product, AHA's and antioxidants like vit c are some of best things for the skin. The # 1 thing is sunscreen, I wish I understood that back in my sun worshipping days!
Oh and I am dying to buy the clarisonic!! Some day soon hopefully!!

IDK exactly, I do know it's one of the larger size bc I really wanted the smaller 3-4 lines of needles but they were twice as much and I was skeptical of it working. But, it does work I think more so than anything else. For one thing, I do believe it allows the other skin care products you use to get deeper into the skin. My face won't be red for days, just maybe until the next morning after using it. IDK, are you using too much pressure?

I really need to get the .25mm for daily use, the ones I have right now are the 1.mm and the 1.5mm needle lengths, and anything over 1.mm they suggest a numbing cream. I think I will just purchase one for daily use in the smaller needle length because I do think it aids in product absorption!

I use the TCA peels, started w/12%, now I use the 21%.

The dermaroller I got on Ebay. I've seen them on other sites (much more$$) but took a chance w/ebay and received the same roller as others were offering. It's ZGTS brand, I believe. My first roller broke after 2 uses, I emailed the seller and they replaced it at no cost, I didn't have to return the damaged one and it's still usable.

Ann, if you haven't tried it and want something great for your body, try their 8% Glycolic/lactic acid body wash. After using it and then a good body lotion, my skin feels as smooth and soft as a baby's.....

LOL...I sold my sister on the body wash....she loved it! Her 5 y/o daughter thought it was bubble bath and dumped half her bottle in the tub....expensive bubble bath...boy, was she ever soft though
