| I've finally got an interview!! I was a nanny for a family in a nearby town for 7 1/2 months but they had to move across country for a job promotion well I came back and was supposed to nanny for a friend of theirs. They never returned my calls or texts! I was out of a job I am the sole provider for my house hold of three ( which is +another topic I don't wanna get started on) anyways I've been out of a job now for a month applying to every nanny wanted add putting my profile on every nanny site and having a he!! of a time finding a job because I am only twenty and people want more experience! I know I'm young but I am a great nanny and have experience with so much add, adhd, autism, asthma, allergies to grass and bees, diabetes, kids of all ages! I mean I know I'm young and don't have kids of my own but my mom started having kids when she was still a kid which left me to take care of her three other children. You have to grow up fast when it all depends on you. Plus I am the eldest of thirteen grandchildren, and I'm mexican so I have like three thousand other cousins. I have so much experience that my age can never account for. I've volunteered in kindergarten classrooms, and even programs in the summer that worked with kids on safety. I was even a camp counselor for a catholic school. And to top it all off I can't even charge good rates because of my "inexperience" sorry that was long...I'm a bit frustrated... I know some of you might agree that I have no 'experience' but please no mean remarks. But ANYWAYS I've got an interview on Friday and I'm so excited, wish me luck! |

| I wish you the best of luck. I know how hard it can be to be young and feel like you are not respected because of it. It gets better I was there. |

| Best of luck to you. You sound very mature and with lots of experience. Any family would be lucky to have you. Age has nothing to do with maturity.

| I love that saying, "when one door closes, another opens." I was taking a Spanish class a couple of years ago. The teacher gave us an opportunity to share at the beginning of class what was going on in our lives. After I shared, she said that in Spanish. I loved it. It was so encouraging. I also carry a small decorative key on my key chain that says that also. I believe it. I hope you are blessed with something even better than you originally thought. Best wishes!
