| Why today?? Why did I have to deal with this today?? Have you ever had a day when NOTHING goes as planned? I had Shelby & Seymour all ready for the Little Sweethearts meetup in Cincinnati (baths were done yesterday)........ and then noticed a little water on the floor in the kitchen. Immediately I assumed that maybe hubby forgot something and stepped inside with wet shoes... so I wiped it up. Later found a little more water..... hmmmmmmmmm. Well I found out what was going on. My refrig/freezer decided die. Total disaster. All food in the freezer was ruined and had to be disposed of.......... instead of going to the meetup, my day was spent finding a new frig and trying to find places for what was salvaged. It has been a long day..things are cleaned up..... and I am getting a new frig!

| Oh Sweetie! I'm so sorry!!! My oven decided to die when we were baking Christmas cookies this past year (very big thing to my daughter and I). So I feel your pain. Maybe everyone will agree to another meet up in a week or two. It's worth a try. ((((((((Hugs)))))))))

| That stinks. I bet the babies were excited to go to their meet up. Does your insurance company cover the lost food?? That is a shame. Hate when things don't go as planned. What a disappiontment. So sorry !!

| It would, but a deductible would have to be met first.... not really worth making a claim after having to pay a deductible. But thanks for the suggestion!

| I felt your pain when reading your thread. I had a similiar experience and I hope this gives you a chuckle.......I was taking Lola for her 1 year old portrait and our appointment was at 9am. I gave her a bath two days prior because her hair looks it's best 24 hours after a bath. Well, I had just pored my cereal and milk and suddenly my cat jumps down from my top cabinet, knocks the bowl off the counter right on Lola's head. I freaked..what are the odds of that? I rushed Lola to the tub and got her all cleaned up and arrived only 2 minutes late. I brought Lola to the photo room to get adjusted to the environment before our photo shoot and things were going well. Well..........as I was having a conversation with the photographer I heard OH CRAP! My Lola was drenched in coffee...Uthhh, I took the day off for this??? We went home and took bath #3, went back to the studio for out 1pm appointment and the power goes out. Ughh. is this an omen? We rescheduled the next day..yup I took another vacation day and things went well, except for Lola's frizzy hair...o'well.

| Oh, I am soooo sorry you had such a miserable and expensive day. Not a great Valentine's Day for any of you. We missed you at the Cincinnati Meet-Up, but there is always next month. Can't wait to see Shelby and Seymour.

| Well.............. today was the day for frig delivery... YAY...... YAY.... YAY...OH NO!!....... SNOW!! .... we just got dumped on today. The roads were terrible to and from work and yes, they decided to cancel the delivery of my new frig. Shucks!! ...... meanwhile, I am glad that it is cold because our refrigerated goods are now in the cold garage. Now........ can't wait until Thursday!! There has GOT to be something wonderful about this.... I guess it is the fact that we are having PIZZA for dinner! LOL

| Yea, for pizza! Hope your fridge comes soon. We did get a ton of snow here, too. The deepest I have ever seen it in our little area of Kentucky. Just amazing. At least the weather is cold enough to keep your food at the right temperature. Hope things improve for you soon...

| Oh no, not the best Valentines, but hey a new fridge! I hope the snow stops long enough this week that you can get delivery! I measured yesterday afternoon and we had almost 11 inches in the backyard and we probably have another 2-3 on top of that and it's still snowing!
