Kristy, I want you to know that I'm thinking of you! I need to go to bed but how could I with it 4-3 bottom of the 8th? I'm totally stressed out

My dad keeps calling to make sure I'm catching everything!

GO WHITE SOX GO!!!!!

As for baseball fans, I believe all sports (hockey, football, etc.) can bring out some highly emotional behavior with "die-hard" fans! I suppose all you can really do is hope your seats aren't with the bad ones and enjoy the game!

People are blowing off fireworks in my neighborhood and everyone is beeping their horns. Around the ballpark there are huge crowds of people freaking out!

The Cardinals are my second favorite team and I don't really want them to play the Sox. Of course I would root for the Sox no matter what, but they're super tough and I'd rather play the Astros

I am sooooo happy for Chicago ( the greatest city in the world) the team
and all their fans. I have told everyone I will never die until the Cubs win
a World Series so you know darn well, I'm living to 100!!! Can someone
tell me the story, I only heard bits and pieces, of a player on, I think Houston
whose Mother died and on her death bed picked the 10-2 score and she
mentioned a name.....what was that all about

????

Roger Clemens. I found a nice story online, but it doesn't mention a deathbed prediction, but the score was 10-2. Let me know if you can't access this.

Thanks so much Mike that was a nice article but you're right it does not
say anything about the predection?? I asked my neighbor when I came
in if she heard anything about the mother of houston player and she
said yes the guy announcing the play off Astro game said she did predict
and they all knew it ahead of time including the media and he told his
team mates that they had better get in some batting practice because
they never get 10 runs??? There were also three first names she kept
saying and the newsmen seemed to know what she was talking about??
I may start a thread asking astro fans tomorrow when I have alittle
more time. Thank you so much for this info dated 9-15-05 I bet Las
Vegas wants to know more than I do.
