Moose in Minot! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

My daughter called today to say she heard there were moose at the baseball field of the job corp, so Maddie, Libby, Faith and I hopped in the car and went to check it out...only about a half mile from my house. I found a great parking place where I had a good view of them. Maddie and Libby wanted so badly to get out of the car and become moose hunters, but Faith had not a clue what all the excitement was about. I kept trying to point them out to her, but I don't think she ever did see them. I called my sister and she came down and we visited and watched the moose. It was a mother and her baby. Boy...they are big...and quite weird looking creatures. I took lots of pictures...here they are!

Thanks soooo much for sharing. Great pictures. Would have loved to have joined you. Had to chuckle when you said Faith didn't have a clue what was going on.

That is so amazing. I can just see you and the girls watching them!! Wish I could have been there. Glad Judy got to see them too! Wow are they big!

awesome pics. I just love to watch wildlife. No moose in our area but we have lots of deer that come into the yard to eat apples off the trees. We had a set of twins come around this summer with their mommy. I never did get pics though.

You were lucky to be able to take such great shots.

Connie, oh my gosh, the moose are awesome.
I was sitting her awwwwwing and ewwwwwwing out loud.
Jack heard me and asked if you got a new yorkie and named it Moose :-)

Great pictures, what camera do you have, it takes fantastic pictures.
