American Idol 2010 Well, it is almost time for the new season. Tomorrow night is the first 2 hour AI episode of the new season. I am looking for to it. Of course I like AI better when they finally get down to the finalists. Some of the contestants they have on in the beginning are really bad. Has anyone bought any cds from last years contestants? I am curious about how Adam's first cd was. I really have not been following any of them. I did read that Jason got married the other day. |
I am too , I love AI... its one of the only shows that everyone in my family enjoys and watches together!;) |

I cannot wait for the new season to begin! I am dying to see how things transpire with Ellen as a judge now. She is such a silly, carefree person that I cannot picture her being mean to negative to a contestant. That being said, I don't think that Simon will like her antics and will have no qualms in telling her that. It will be interesting, that's for sure. :thumbup: |

I know I will continue to watch because I am more interested in the contestants than the judges. After all, in the end, it is us that makes the final decision. Of course, I am not really crazy about some of the ones that have won but that's life. I did some research to see what Simon's new show, X-factor, will be about and here is a interesting article that explains it. X-factor will start in the fall of next year after the AI season ends. I have to say , sometimes I hate this stage of the show, I liked season 1 when at least 90% of the people were really trying to sing.. sometimes the stupid people that go on here and sing like fools I feel is a waste of time. :eek: |
I usually like American Idol, but this year I think I have had enough. It is the same old same old. People making fools out of themselves to get on tv. I am not impressed. I don't think I will watch it this year. It is always the same. Just different faces. maybe I will watch again when they pick the final bunch. Then I can decide for myself who I like better out of the talent. Right now I find it boring. |

LOL, I can sure relate to the Pants On The Ground song. I hate seeing guys walking around like that. Over all I think there are some pretty good contestants. Of course I will be much happier after they get down to the finalists. Some of those weirdo contestants are hard to stomach. |
I am such an idiot!!! I knew AI started this week, I knew it....but I have forgotten to watch it both nights! :eek: I even meant to set my DVR just in case I forgot - and I forgot to do that!! :p On a happier note, I did get to hear Pants on the Ground on the radio this morning. I'm glad I didn't miss that! They also played a clip of the country girl (oh, where is she from) the one who's mom said she didn't have butterflies she had frogs in her stomach. :rolleyes: |
