Do have a collection Obsession??

I use to have Teapots galore! Had shelves up high that went all around in the kitchen. Finally after many years, I decided it was a dust collector........so I sold them @yard sales. My nephew noticed after he was much older.....why did you take the shelves & teapots down, I really liked them? I was so suprised he even remembered.

I started a Raggedy Ann & Andy collection before my daughter was born. Her nursery was Raggedy Ann & Andy themed!! Curtains, lamp, handmade quilt, dolls galore of all sizes. Well, she isn't interested in them at all. I still have everything. Maybe one day..........for grandkids room??

I have many collections but the only ones that i still add to are snowbabies & Thomas Kinkaid christmas plates

Wine Corks, I have been saving wine corks for about 15 years now. My new obsession is tall crystal vases to display my wine corks.

I have always collected dragon things. You name it I most likely have it or had it at one time. Dragon hour glasses, dragon kite, dragon posters, dragon sculptures, dragon toys.... it goes on. But my recent obsession uh I mean collection is teacups and teapots. I just bought a new teacup today at the antique store. My favorite tea set has dragons painted on them. It's a vicious cycle! And I don't even want to think about how many books and anime things I have...

I collect antique ladys wind-up watches. I have hundreds. They all fit nicely in a shoe box.
I'm also super OCD and hate clutter.

BEANIE BABIES...yes I fell into the craze also! I was fortunate to work in a hospital connected to a children's hospital, so they had two gift shops. I had look outs that would call me and I could rush up when they brought out the beanie babies. lol! (I didn't do patient care so no-one was harmed!)

ANTIQUES..I've collected since I was a kid and before it was cool! I have furniture and I love kitchen gadgets. But I think I have enough right now. (unless you have some tin spice containers..wait...no....better not....)

Norman Rockwell Christmas Ornaments; I have about 10. they seemed to have stopped making the ones I bought after he died.

Needless to say, Barbie has her own room with a large pink/black sign above the door saying "Barbie Blvd". I hate to admit it but I have so much in that room that I can barely move around in there. Hallmark ornaments. I'm not as obsessed with these except that I get one for each of my kids every year and I tried to keep them from "sets" such as Barbie for my daughter and "sports guys" for my son.

McDonalds - not only do we have the full sets of the tiny Beanie Babies but I have sets from back in 1988 like Bambi. OMG - they're in barrels!

Last but not least - Harley Davidson & Yorkies. We haven't gotten obsessive about them but those are our new focus now.

Poor Barbie - she's going to get downsized and have to share a room with Mia & Max. I plan on getting one of those signs like
Barbie has except it says "Yorkie Ave"! hahaha!

My daughter collected turtles, pirates, gorillas and anything Jack Daniels! Good thing she's "legal"!

My collections kind of tie together...

-Beanie Babies
-Stuffed Animals
-Dog Figurines/Stuffed Animals/whatever! Or any animal really, but mostly dogs and horses.
-Yorkie things
-101 Dalmatians things, or just Dalmatian things, but from the movie is better lol
-Keychains

I don't have too many beanie babies. Most of my collection I got as Christmas presents. One every year for maybe 9-10 years. I have two rare ones, too. The two iguanas, Rainbow and Iggy, but the name tags are switched! LOL I'd like more, though.

Stuffed animals!! I have A LOT! I'd have to take at least 10 pictures to show them, and I still have a lot that I need to find a place for. I still have some from when I was a baby. I actually have the teddy bear the hospital gave when I was born.

Figurines... I don't have too many, but I'm getting there. lol

Yorkie things fall into stuffed animals and figurines and keychains. lol Or anything else yorkie I can get! Pens, notebooks, magnets, anything!

101 Dalmatians is my favorite movie ever! I have a lot of the McD's little toys and the snow globes they had. Stuffed animals (Lucky and Wizzer lol) I went to a yard sale last year and was soooo excited!! I found a dog bowl that has the dalmatians on it and everything!! It was still in the plastic wrap and only $5!!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was when I saw that.

Oh the keychains... lol I have so many. Places I've gone to, dogs, even thr free sample ones when you go to businesses and stuff. Ones I've made, too. I don't have keys for them, but that doesn't matter. lol

Hmmm...I used to be very addicted to Beanie Babies, back when they were all the rage. I still have a curio cabinet full of bears and probably have 5-6 hundred of them altogether.

I don't really obsessively collect anything. I generally get a Disney snow globe every time we go to Disney World...got 14 of them.

I have a lot of Daniel Moore paintings. (Some even signed.) He's an artist that does renditions of U of AL sports moments. I actually have a lot of AL football stuff. Autographed footballs and jerseys and the likes. That's about it though.

I collect Perfume bottles, small large, any size, shop display bottles etc, 1000 or more now, I also collect powder compacts 210 to date, also I collect toy sewing machine, tape measures, anything sewing related (old) I also collect noddy (enid blyton) and lalique glass, vintage buckles (enamel and silver and bakelite mainly) I have a lot of antique porcelain. My house is full to overflowing but I just can't stop collecting.
