| Special Gift at Christmas?? I love to hear what others got for Christmas...... sometimes the smallest or least expensive gifts are the most precious. Here are some of things that I received: -A calendar with Pics of my Grandkids on it. Something that I will look at all YEAR. -A picture drawn by my 5 year old Grandson. (to be proudly displayed on my refrigerator) - A single string of pearls, beautiful. - A frypan for the RV (Love the idea of having an electric frypan to use when we camp!!) - A new warm coat from my hubby...... snuggley! - Knitted House "boots"- these are the coolest thing..... you need to try a pair sometime! - Good smelling candle - pandora charms for my bracelet. LOVE THESE!! - WII Fit (Oh my, now there is no excuse not to exercise!) - Many other gifts- too numerous to mention, and loved everything - NOTHING was returned or exchanged. ........ and another gift, from all of you, friendships that have been created thru the mutual interest in our beloved Yorkies...... You all are the greatest! .......... OK, I shared a few of the things that I have received this year. Now it is YOUR turn!!!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Family.......... I'd say topping the list this year would be that the 12+ inches of snow that fell from about December 23rd through the 26th didn't stop my family from being able to gather together.......it hindered it a little, but with the help of my SUV we were able to get my son & his family and step-daughter & her kids to our house on Christmas morning. I missed having my daughter Kristen & her hubby Chris here with us (they are stationed in Japan), but through the magic of cell phones, Skype, FaceBook, and the US Post Office, gifts were exchanged and celebrations shared. My extended family celebration (mom, sisters, brothers, etc @ 80-100 people)which was supposed to happen the day after Christmas, was delayed by one day,but we did get together the next & had a great time as always. "FAMILY" tops my "best gifts" list 365 days a year. Some other gifts I received were: - a digital photo frame - microwaveable heating pad & massaging pillow & Rachel Ray kitchen utensils - Kitchen-Aid 3 cup food chopper - 70th Anniversary Collectible 5-disc edition of The Wizard of Oz This was from my daughter Kristen; aside from the fact that the Wizard of Oz movie was a favorite of Kristen's from the time she was 3 through her childhood, the main reason for getting it was because the set includes the "made for TV movie special "Dreamer of Oz". I saw it once YEARS & YEARS...& YEARS ago and loved it! I taped it (but it got taped over) and I've kind of been looking for it for years or wishing it would come back on TV, but it never did. So when Kristen found that it was included in this collectible set, she knew right away that this was the gift for me! The Dramer of Oz is the story of L. Frank Baum and how he came up with the story of the Wizard of Oz and it starred John Ritter. With the hustle & bustle of the busy holiday week, I haven't had a chance to sit and watch it yet, hopefully I will this weekend

| My favorite things are a boston terrier puppy which I got before Christmas and 2 pairs of earrings I had shown my dtr I liked. From Overstock World and made in Chile and South Africa. She really listened to my wishes. One other thing was my brother was with us. He is in the National Guard and leaves for Afghanastan in March. He will not be with us next year and we are so worried about him going.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I think the most thoughtful gift I received was from my close group of friends (there are 6 of them). They all put their money together and bought me a camera I was dying for. I really, really love photography, and have been wanting a nice camera, but I just couldn't justify spending that much money on myself. I almost cried when I got it. It certainly wasn't the smallest or least expensive gift I got (LOL), but it meant the most because they recognized this talent and really did me a huge favor that will help me improve. I also got (from my parents and other family members): - a laptop ( ) - a couple scarves - Ticket to Jersey Boys - ticket to Avenue Q tour - a tripod and some other small things. it was a lot of fun. I'm very grateful. Though I also feel a little guilty at how much money was spent on me.
