oh no! |
Yen! LOL :D! Okay - the 1st video...I'd say that yorkie looks a little larger than Wylie, maybe? The 2nd yorkie is a little smaller than Wylie, I think, but larger than Marcel. But the yorkie in that 2nd video plays *just* like Marcel, so funny! Backing his butt up against him and stuff, little stinker :p! That pitty is super calm. Ambrey, bless her puppy soul, is turned up about 250% in comparison to that pitty...but she just needs some calming energy and some work. Plus, it's more our boys that are SO spazzy around other dogs...not Ambrey...I'm more worried about what *they* would do to incite her, know what I mean? Like, when we rescued that black lab a few months ago (Ella) - they yapped at her ALL the time, and actually tried to bite her back paws/legs (not cool :(). Little turds... |

yes, i know what you mean. i personally, honestly, would be too scared to have a large dog around milu too. doesn't matter how much i feel like i trust the dog, i would just be so worried. i mean, i don't even let my bunnies hang out with milu unsupervised. i just don't feel comfortable enough with that. i know that there are a lot of ppl with large and small dog mix in the family, but i think everyone's comfort level is different. ;) |

Forgot to add. I have 2 yorkie-poos one Zoey weighs 10 pounds and Bella weighs 4. We have a chocolate lab that just came into our home,he's 10 weeks and weighs 11 pounds already:eek: Although he is and is going to be a bigger dog,I fully trust him around mine. He yaps and picks and them both BUT,Zoey knows whose boss and so does he.:) She just barks at him and he'll walk away! So funny! |
4 Attachment(s) I am glad to hear things are going so well for Ambrey!! Big dogs can live with small dogs, it just takes a lot of training, time, patience and love. Daisy is about 80lbs and does great with our little ones. When she is walking she is always careful to watch where she steps. We also taught her to lay down when she is playing with them. She even plays tug o war with them and lets them win (though she never lets us win when we play with her). I do want to mention she is not allowed with them unsupervised, accidents can happen. It took her awhile to learn as she was hyper as any but they do learn. We started of with teaching her lay down and stay and then do it when they were around. She also learned the "be gentle" command when she was younger when we would play with her. So we applied it to the puppies and it worked. With whatever happens, it looks like Ambrey has a great life ahead of her, all thanks to you, you are her angel!! |

Thank you so much for taking the time to post those pics, they are just too adorable :D!!! |
the wounds look like bite marks to me. we had 2 dobermans years ago both lived together for many years but they got in one huge realy bad fight one day. both were hurt from it. both limping and bleeding. the wound marks they got were in the head/ nose/ leg/neck/chest areas. looked just like those. I dont think she was used for fighting but was in a fight. maybe to pertect her litter at one time for she does look like shes had a litter of pups before. shes very pretty love the brindle in her. |

I still say she's gonna stay with you. I don't think there is a mean bone her body......you'll train her and she'll stay. |

But actually, I think we're going to have to get it FULLY approved by the YTers, to be honest - I seriously can't believe how supportive everyone has been here <--- actually, *of course* I can, what am I saying :p? |

Sending Ambrey good wishes and a prayer on her spay tomorrow. Will watch for an update regarding that. So happy she's made herself right at home. Looks like she knew just how to wiggle right into your heart Ann. Any chance of putting some lbs on Marcel?:p |

I didn't know massages were so good for the babies. Kaji's sitting right here so I thought I'd try it. He was contently licking my hand as I rubbed his lower back. Thanks for the idea. |
