| Well, I'm sure that you've been on the other side of the bar so the names of the drinks aren't foreign to you... Most of the time, you can ask people about the weird drinks and a lot of the times people will prefer it a certain way. For instance, I like my margaritas a little heavy on the lime juice. Don't be shy, this is when people are letting their hair down...people like having a friendly face and someone with a good sense of humor. The best advice that I can give is make the person feel as he is the most important person in the world (but remember that you have a bunch of other customers to take care of). People appreciate that, alot. Once you get a following, it's really nice to remember what they drink and when they come in, ask them specifically if they'd like (the actual name of the drink) one. You will not believe how far this will get you. It really isn't about the drink but how the person is made to feel when he's trying to relax and unwind. You seem like someone who cares about people so you should do great! Best of luck and if you have any other questions, ask away.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | So I did it last night...I don't know if it's for me exactly. I am the shy type but if i force myself and act then i can be the party starter..which is exactly what i had to do last night. lol i have to entertain all these guys..and is was mostly guys...old drunk..weird guys! I felt uncomfortable at times..like the measures they go to, to hit on you. I guess I will see if they call me back or whatever, if they do i just hope i remember everything! lol and if they dont well that's fine too..im not too crazy about it.

| One of the best bartenders I know, her line is always long bc she is worth the wait. She is super friendly, laughs a lot, doesnt overly "sex it up", and fast. She flirts with the men here and there but she is just as friendly with women, always asks if you are having a good time and keeps mixing while she is talking. They have some great bartender books so study up some - that way if someone asks you to suggest a great shot - you can be prepared. And you could even get funky with it (take advantage of your current situation) and create your own *speciality* shot with a quirkly lil name

| Having a few Nevada Casino bartenders in the family: all I can say is look into a little red pocket guide Nevada's bartenders guide. Very cheap nice little book to have on hand.
