| Just Checking In Been missing you guys. So many things conspiring to keep me off line lately. Between some health issues and my Neverending Tile Job! The tile guys came this morning long enough to hook my washer & dryer back up and then had to go get ready for the Hurricane/Tropical Storm. They won't be coming tomorrow because of the wind and rain, but maybe will be back on the job Wednesday. They are hard workers just the weather has slowed them down. We are so ready to be done with this! Just heard Ida was downgraded to a TS -- yea! We have had long lines for gas since last night and some places are out already. Luckily I have a couple of 5 gallon cans full for the generator, so I will skip the lines. I don't think it will be bad but we seem to lose power even in the Tropical Storms. Maybe it won't be for long though. We are all used to the drill -- securing everything in the yard, bringing most of it inside or in the garage, getting the generators ready for use, chasing down gas and batteries. We have had a quiet year, so I guess I won't complain if we get one little TS thrown at us here at the end of Hurricane season. I had already moved a lot of stuff out of the house into the garage, so digging out my Hurricane Supply box was an ordeal. But now we are ready for anything. Just wanted to check in and say my family & I are fine, the "kanine kidz" are fine and all is well in the panhandle. When things settle down, I will get to spend some leisure time here. Sending a big hello to everyone!

| Debra, it is so good to hear from you. Sending you a great big "feel better" and "get well quick" . I hope that the workers get finished with the tile job soon so that at leat one bothersome "thing" is out of the way. Stay safe and dry through the storm..... |

| I am so glad you are safe and sound and the storm was downgraded, I think the US has had enough majorly damaging storms in the last decade! You'll have to take some pics of your new tile floors and the house work you are doing. You must be dying to get it done and get order back in your house huh? Good to hear from you though!
