I'm sorry. If it's any consolation my husband of 24 years did not do gifts, cards or cakes but an up side is FINALLY after 24 years he bought me something. He got me a little Yorkie for bd, Xmas and anniv. So there is hope

Just hang in. I know how hurt it feels. Been there many times.

I wish I had read this earlier, but how did it end up? I didn't see any news flashes...

Next year will be better! I hope it ended well.

For my 18th birthday my entire family forgot. I got out of school and was going to watch movies with 3 of my friends and have a sleep over, then my dad called and said I needed to weed the yard. (Our yard was two and a half acres) So I went back home and after about two hours I called him crying. He felt so bad.

Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone!
He ended up taking me to Disneyland that evening to have dinner at the Blue Bayou, he had made a reservation like a month before and didnt tell me!

I don't give my DH or son a chance to forget my birthday. For my 50th, I had my tiara order and wore it all day! DH had already planned something for the next weekend after. worked out fine! Donna
