Government Conspiracy????? So a lady I know, she thinks the swine flu is a government invented disease created to kill off the population. And, she thinks that the vaccine for H1N1 has a chip in it for the government to track us. Is this like a widespread idea or is this lady a little off:rolleyes: Maybe she is schitzo (sp?), it sounds kinda paranoid. But I have no idea, maybe a lot of poeple are thinking that???? Just wondering what ya'll think! |
Personally I just think that the H1N1 flu scare is overblown to distract people from the real issues. Flu kills lots of people every year and there are always new strains. I have never had a flu shot and it has been over 20 years since I had the flu. I don't believe for a minute that the government is microchipping people. Flu shots are big money for the pharmaceutical companies just like dog vaccinations are. They will push these shots just to make a buck. I have read that some research shows that yearly flu shots can increase ones chances of getting alzheimer's disease. |
IF THEY KILL US ALL OFF- WHO IS THERE TO PAY TAXES!!!! lol! i THINK NOT!! i DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE LADY?????? |
Hmmmmmm, sounds wacko to me, maybe she's been watching too many movies & smokin da ___.:D |

And needless to say, my pups will not be getting them either! |
I can tell you that insurance companies don't waste money on needless medicines, it hard to get them to pay for even necessary treatment, however, they believe in the vaccine so much most are willing to pay for the total cost of the shot, they understand that the cost to treat the flu and secondary infections resulting from it can be very expensive. Employers also are willing to pay for the cost of the shot because it has been proven to save them money with employees needing less sick days. I'm willing to pay for the cost of the shot because it is much much less than what I would have to pay for all the cough and cold medicines needed to treat the flu. Perhaps, if you're young and healthy, you can avoid the flu shot, but for me, it's been a real lifesaver. I consider myself, fairly healthy, but not so young, and I started getting the flu shot every year a few years back. For me, getting the flu does not just mean a few weeks of misery; it often turns into bronchitis and pneumonia. I also use to get it at the very worst times, around Thanksgiving or Christmas, and nothing can spoil a Holliday, like the flu. I can now look forward to holidays, and know I won't be sick, with the flu anyways. All you have to do is look at third world countries, and you will understand that our immunization programs are doing much much more good than harm. There will always be alarmists and government conspiracy theorists, and hopefully enough people can sort out truth from wild theories. Everything you do has some effect, but one great side effect of getting the flu shot is not getting the flu! |
Vaccinations have been given not only in this country, but also in third world nations that have killed thousands. Trial vaccinations such as the Kaiser Permanent one in 1989-1991, in which minority children both here in the US, and in third world countries were injected with a experimental vaccine which was associated with death and diseases. Or the polio vaccine that was given to thousands in the 1950's and 60's which is now attributed to rare cancer formations in that population. Or perhaps the 1976 swine flu vaccination that killed over 300, not due to flu symptoms, but due to the Guillan-Barre Syndrome that was inflicted because of the vaccine. There are hundreds of other vaccination disasters that have occurred. The biggest misconception that most persons, not in the medical field maintain is that by getting the flu shot, they will not get the flu. Just because you get the flu shot, does not mean that you are NOT going to get the flu. At any one point there are several different strains of one flu going around. The vaccination that you get, does not cover all these differing strains. It is not designed that way. The truth is a out there, for anyone willing to search for it, however, so are those people spreading wild theories without facts. |

As for vaccinations; is the principle behind them a valid one? Yes, however, do not believe for one moment that the conglomerate pharmaceutical companies are not making a mint on them; and if you cannot believe me, believe the CDC when they say that there are chemicals included that could effect your future health. Now whether that is an acceptable trade off for quality health now, is only a query that can be answered by you. |
The sad part is the majority of Americans refuse to believe that their gov't would ever do anything to harm its people... check out infowars.com... its a good starting point. You couldn't pay me enough to take the vaccination! |
We have seen alot of the h1n1 here in GA. My two children have had the flu shot but I am declining the H1N1 due to just not knowing what side effects may occur. We are going to weather that storm with lots of hand washing and sanitizers. I would say that your friend with the chip idea is a a little paranoid. |
