Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Actually, lots of people here have had it done bc I've replied on a lot of those threads. I had it done about 5-6 years ago on bikini line - BEST "luxury" money ever spent, I think I used a work bonus to pay for it, so it made me feel less guilty about doing it . Some areas of the bod hurt more than others, fyi. It does feel rather like a rubber band snap, like they say.

| Hmm DH did it on his face.. and he had like 6 treatments or something and it was a while ago probably like....2 years.. And the places he got it done on his face has hair growing out of it!! He is not happy about it. I dont know if it is different for men and woman... But thats his exp I think if I remember my friends friend had it done on her bikini area and she said everything is good no hair.. so I would say if you are going to do it find a good place!!

| I would love to be able to afford to have my bikini line done. Maybe someday when I'm rich...or at least not a broke college student

| I did the upper lip and underarms. It really does work, however .....I need to go back for touch ups.... When I went in for the first treatment I was told by that the regular sessions (6) remove most of the hair, but that touch ups are required by most. The center I went to sold me a numbing cream I applied on the skin one hour prior to the treatment. It REALLY helped!!! Would I do it again and recommend to others? ABSOLUTELY

| If I remember correctly the upper lip as $650 for 6 sessions, and underarms $950 for 6 sessions. The numbing cream was about $40 and lasted through all sessions. I have done a lot of research and my opinion is that I felt more comfortable spending more money for a great medical place. I wanted to make sure the reviews, licenses were in order; and that there was medical staff on duty - just in case. I have heard of horror stories of laser treatment going wrong..... Good luck to you. Let me know if I can answer any questions. The place I went to is Gold Coast Med Spa, Chicago Aesthetic Laser Services and they were all great!
