And someone wants Walt (I think) because he has some kind of powers, but they have not elaborated on that yet, they gave lots of clues last season.

There have been people on that Island since the 70's though, based on the equipment in the "hatch".

And can someone tell me what the 108 number meant at the end when weird guy was making Locke enter stuff into the computer?

rememeber the big kid.. was talking to Jack .. and apprentely he was in a psycho ward well remember he was talking about some #s i think those are the #s in the hatch that he saw .... b/ci remember the # starting with 4 but cant remember the rest..

The number 108 is what all of the lottery ticket numbers equal. If you can catch it, down in the hatch, there is a picture painted on the wall that is always in the background. It looks like a painting of the french lady and then there's a circle with the number 108 in it. I heard on the radio yesterday that the numbers are every where. Also, Jack's future gf that he cured, well the guy that was in the accident that died, died at 8:15! That was the number of their flight, flight 815. Also, one scene in an airport there are soccer players and all their numbers were the same as the lottery ticket numbers. This is all so interesting!!! Ladylavender you have some great theories. I think I'll be asking you for more clues after every episode!!

Yes, walt has powers. That is why the adoptive father gave him back to Michael. Adoptive father was a little afraid of him. Plus on the island, in one episode, Walt was reading a comic book and there was a polar bear in it and then there ended up being a polar bear on the island, going after walt. I think Walt has the "power" to create in reality what he is thinking.

What do you think about the possibility that the weird guy is some kind of government agent/employee who took over for Hurley's roommate at the mental institution...the one who kept repeating the numbers over and over...like maybe having to remember to put the numbers in or everything was destroyed broke his mind?? Remember the weird guy asked Locke "are you him??" Him who?? maybe his replacement? And when Locke couldn't answer the riddle he knew Locke wasn't "him" Also did you notice that the stuffed animal Michael gave Walter when he was saying good bye, when walt was little, was a white bear? This show is my addiction! LOL I love it.
I think Sawyer and Sayid are both HOT!
