| do u think i need to see the eye doctor?? ok question and its late so i cant call the eye doctor until tomorrow and i hadnt thought about it earlier because i didnt think it was serious until my mom mentioned it, but then again she is always stating "go to the doctor" but being as my husband was laid off no new insurance has kicked in ok so here is the delimma about 2-21/2 weeks ago we were goofing off and my husband poked me in the eye ( i do where rx contacts) it was painful but i went to bed and seemed fine..i had some twitching the next day..then went the rest of the week fine..then i had a day where the eye twitched ALL DAY but no pain. this morning i was watching a movie (p.s. i love y ou) wearing my glasses and i cried through out the entire movie really sad movie. (i also didnt get much sleep last night) then i got up, put in my contacts and started cleaning i noticed everything looked cloudy i just figured i needed to clean the contact so i did, but it didnt work, so i took then out put on some glasses and used some drops..after a while the cloudiness cleared but its sore from rubbing i think...and tonight its red and watery and sore.. do you think i just irrated the eye all day long or do you think its more serious and i should go see the eye doctors? Thanks in advance |

| Cloudiness like that can mean infection, common for contact wearers. So, I would say, if it happens at all between now and the morning, I would call for an appointment. Better safe than sorry with the eyes!

| I think I would at least call the eye dr. I just don't like to mess around with my eyes.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Please don't mess with your eyes - long story but I bought an over the counter medication - it was sold in the REGULAR isle & used them for 5 months ....they ruined my vision - totally. I see double and really HAVE to see an eye doctor but with no insurance. I'm in a hole about it. I have to really watch it when I drive. I found out thru my SIL who is a nurse that what they sold me was prescription drops for people going in BEFORE Getting surgery to dialiate their eyes So all the best !! Goof luck with your eyes I used it for 5 months not knowing why my eyes were so messed up. |
