| Life SUCKS! I know that many of you somewhat know the situation I have been having with my husband's family members. Well on Wednesday morning about 3:00 AM we got a call from Florida (where most of his family lives) to tell us that his Aunt had passed away. She was like a 2nd mother to him. Well @ 11:15 PM that night we get another call to tell us that his grandfather had just passed away as well. He is taking it pretty hard. Our flight leaves at 7:35 tonight to go down there. I just wanted to update you guys and let you know that life has been REALLY REALLY crazy the past week and I have truly missed being on here. Also on top of everything my classes start tom. and I am going to have to miss my first lecture. I emailed my Professor and explained to her what had happened I hope she is understanding. I do not like to miss any of my classes especially on the first day. I think it is very disrespectful. Oh and his Uncle has decided to go against the wishes of his Aunt and have her cremated so everyone is also upset over that. He just does not know which way to turn. Thanks for listening Michelle

| You are dealing with so much pain right now. I'm very sorry! When things settle down, then you'll be able to focus on being a new Aunt! That is so exciting! I bet your prof will be fine with your having to miss class. I hope things go well at the funeral. Stay calm, take deep breaths! Hugs!

| I am so sorry for your loss. Be there for your hubby, sounds like he needs you now. I'm sure your professor will totally understand.

| Michelle, I am really sorry to hear what you're going through. I'll be sure to keep your family in my prayers. Your professor will understand. I see that you are a local - are you attending UT?

| Sorry for the long time between updates... Things went really well in FL...we were able to catch a flight out Friday night and return on Monday so it was a short trip but definitely what he needed. He was able to spend time with most of his family and just hang out. His Aunt was cremated and her ashes were spread in the lake with her mother's (his grandmother) which is where she wanted to be so that makes us all happy. We had a memorial for her which was really nice and then everyone made one of her favorite dishes and we had a big potluck just to catch up and reminence at the same time. Thanks for all of the support.
