| Love bugs, Does your state have them?? Is it only Florida that has love bugs??? I know why they call them love bugs, but I don't love them!! I really don't like them at all

| I'm sure they have them here in Tennessee but the amout of them are NOTHING like their population down in Charleston. I know what you mean - they're gross, and everywhere! It's like guys, don't reproduce....there are enough of you as it is!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | i think they're called that because you always see them attached in a "loving" sort of way! we get them here and I hate them!! did you know that if you don't wash your car after hitting a bunch of them while driving, they will stain your paint!

| When I lived in South Carolina they used to call them something other than "love" bugs!! (Get out your potty mouth for that one!)

| ok here....... i was lazy and hopeed the answer would be given but i actually had to research these are love bugs..... oh and i also came across that the reason there are more of them this year is because of teh wetter than normal summer |

| the person who i got that info from is actually doing a study on the insects . He is tracking them and asking for photos, video, and even specimens of the lovebugs for the study. |

| Louisiana has plenty love bugs!! We just had some of our neighbors go down to Louisiana (we are stationed at Cherry Point, NC) to help out with the hurricane damage. They called once they got into Louisiana and was having a fit because he couldn't see out of his window due to the lovebugs! He is from New York and I guess they aren't blessed with lovebug season there. They have more then their share down there. We don't have them here in eastern North Carolina thank God! |
