My dd who is 14 lost her filling in her molar on Monday. I take her to the dentist yesterday at 10:30am. I'm literally in there for maybe 7minutes. The dentist pokes at it fills it and shines a blue light on it. $70 later and I have insurance. Ok so now by 6:30 she is eating dinner (rice and chicken) She runs away from the dinner table. The filling is gone

So this morning I call the dentist back. Well the office that is close to my house is closed on Wed. So I call their other office. They squeeze her in and I have to bring her at 4:00. Ok so we get there, the assistant puts her in a room and says she is going to take an x-ray because she may need a root canal. WHAT??? I tell her that she is not taking an x-ray they are just re-filling the filling. Ok so next the Dr. comes in and tells me that he is just gong to put a temporary filling in and we could go back to the office closer to my house tomorrow for the permanent one. Are you kidding?? I am not going to the dentist with this kid 3 days in a row. I told him to put a permanent filling in it because I was NOT going to the other office tomorrow. He said that a silver filling would stay in better than a white one. I don't care if the filling is purple. It is in the back inside of her tooth.. I told him I have a mouth full of silver fillings and so what?? I left right after we were done which P.S. only took about 7 min.. also. They said nothing about paying but I didn't stick around long enough to find out if they were going to have the nerve to charge me. Oh they made me fill out an insurance form,because they couldn't get the info from the dentist that is closed. I really didn't want a fight but I was not going to pay for the visit today. I could have waited for the dentist near me for tomorrow if they were just putting in a temp. She is not in pain, only when she eats something real sweet or really cold. She could have waited. They are a joke. Like I have nothing better to do.

I hate people!!!

Are they crazy or what? Now I agree with my daughter she just always says she hates people.
