Donating YT 10K Club Member | It's a June bug...which may not be the "official" name for it. One variety is green.

| Japanese Beetles. They SWARM this time of year and they love to eat your roses! You can get beetle traps for them pretty cheap at a home supply store. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Someone in a garden shop advised me not to get those trap things...because they're scented to attract the beetles...so you end up with MORE in your yard.

| They are definately Japanese beetles. Check out Google images and you will see they have that same irridescent look to them. You definately win the ICKIEST pic of the week award! Especially the one with the guts hanging out and flies landing. Go Brownie!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | We found one of those at my aunt's house - her dog was walking around with it in her mouth!!! They are japanese beetles! Nasty little buggars! but their colors are sooo pretty.
