Donating YT 1000 Club Member | When I was 13 I went to England while there I got my ears pierced. Something my mother would never let me do, so I was thrilled to get the chance. They put little gold rings in my ears that had flat edges, of course I LOVED them. A couple years later I took a road trip and lost one. To this day I have the other and every time I look at it I get upset that I never found the one I lost.

| About 5 years ago I slept over at a friends house, i had to get up and go to work in the morning before he did. I have to slick my hair back in a bun with a bunch of gel so i took my ring off so it wouldn't get all goopy. (This ring was given to my by my grandmother when she died, it was her engagement ring and is absolutley georgous). So i put my ring in my pocket and did my hair. I went back to the bed room and changed into my uniform totaly forgeting the ring was in my pocket. Well i realized after i was changed and it wasn't in my pocket anywhere, we tore his room apart looking for it and couldn't find it anywhere i was devistated! 2 days later he calls me from Atlantic city and tells me he found my ring, it was in his shoe! you have no idea how releived i was!

| I've lost SO many pieces of jewelry that its not even funny anymore! The most expensive piece I lost was a gift from my parent's for my 16th birthday. It was this beautiful white gold, diamond, and blue topaz ring that I absolutely loved so much that I just couldn't bring myself to have it sized... A week after my birthday, the ring fell off my finger never to be seen again! After all these years...that still tears me up! I also lost my husband's high school class ring right after we first started dating. I ordered him a new one and THEN told him what happened. Darn tiny fingers of mine!

| Well I"m still looking Each and every time I walk Buddy my head is down hoping to see a little sparkle of gold from that earring. It really stinks because I don't have much good jewerly anymore. Some SOB robbed my home several years ago steeling every piece of jewerly I owned. My mother's ring, grandmother's ring, my wedding rings, my husband had passed, our HS rings, the ring he gave me to wear around my neck when we started dating etc. All memories that should have been passed down. Anyhow I've been trying to add some nice pieces from gifts from the kids and this earring was from my two youngest granddaugter's for my birthday. Oh well SH$T happens. It sure could be worse. Some of your stories and how you found your jewerly still give me hope. |

| That's too bad you lost all that jewelry to some creep. I had a diamond engagement ring that belonged to my h's grandma... it got lost. I have no idea how or when. That was many years and a different house ago, so I know I will never get it back. It was the only diamond I ever owned. |

That's too bad. That really stinks. That reminds me of a ring my tire picked up. I saw this thing sticking out from one of my tires walking towards my car and bent down to find a 14k gold ring stuck in the tire. The diamond was gone but the ring intact. There was small diamonds going down each side. You could tell it was an engagement ring. I felt bad for the girl unless she threw it in traffic herself. I had a pink stone put in it. The jeweler said it held about 1Ct diamond. They took that ring too. | |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | What a coincidence you wrote this Carol....I just lost the beautiful emerald in my diamond and emerald ring -it was the 1st ring my late husband ever bought me and and I never took it off......till now. I can't afford to replace it and don't know when I will. but this is a very sentimental ring not to mention beautiful....I looked everywhere but the stone is just gone... it's only a material thing I know but still - the memories of picking it out are in this ring and now it's no longer on my finger |

| Carol... I have had this happened to many times.. Look in your silverware drawer, or around the sink in your kitchen. Look in your bathroom around the sink an toilet.. you might have been brushing your hair an it fell out. That happened to me a couple of times. Also, look around your bed.. could had fallen off while you were lying down.. or in the chairs.. or sofa, Look in the seat of your car... I lost a diamond earring once and when I was trading the car in for a new car I just so happend was looking under the seat to get stuff out an there it was.. all shining at me! I am so glad I looked! It will turn up when You least expect it..
