| Doggy diapers won't stay on! I put this here because it's about my Rat Terrier. She is almost 16 years old so she has been having a hard time holding her bladder and has been having a lot of accidents in the house. I bought some doggy diapers for her but returned them because they wouldn't stay on since her tail is docked. Well, I was watching an episode of 'It's me or the dog' and these people had a diaper on their dog with a docked tail but it had an elastic piece that attached to the diaper and went around her chest to hold it up. The diaper was made out of fabric so do you think they probably made it themselves or is there a place where I can buy these? TIA!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I have seen fabric doggie diapers in the local pet stores, but boy are they ugly. Just a dark blue denim material. I've never used them. However there are quite a few YT'rs that do make and sell fashionable and fun doggie panties/diapers in which you place a womens panty liner inside to catch urine. To name a few there is FufuFashions, Tigers Mom, and LuvMy Sissy. Check them out, I'm sure they will be happy to help you.

| This are not the cheapest but they work the best...especially for older dogs that try to rub them off or are to small and can step out of them. Make sure you check out all the colors/designs because some are for girls and some are for boys in the color selection. My friend and I who were in Yorkie rescue together found these to be fabulous when we brought in new dogs that had not been housetrained. They didn't love them at first but given time it helped us to housebreak some of the dogs that did not want to be wet. We used small light day pads inside but you could also cut up different pads and they will not fall out because of the elastic. Joybies Piddle Pants

| Thanks so much for the replies I think I am going to try the piddle pants. I spend so much time and money cleaning up her messes so I think it will be well worth the investment.

| Ellie's is from ChloeBella. It does stay on if I tighten it enough. You just put a pad inside or whatever you want...

| They also sell different kinds on ebay. They velcro closed; some have elastic at the tail.
