| Mane and Tail So I have tried just abot every type of shampoo and conditioner...expensive, cheap and in-between. I used this when I was younger and decided to try it again...I love it. The lady that cuts my hair says she knows quite a few people that use it and it works really good. Does anyone else use this? (and for those of you who don't know it is a horse/human shampoo and conditioner that is suppose to help with thickness and growth.) Oh and it was so funny when I bought it because Jer thought it was for the dogs. They sell it in the animal section and he just kept asking if I was serious.

| My Aunt has used it for years and swears by it. Says it makes her hair much thicker and shinier. I have not tried it, but maybe I will.

| I have heard of some people using it and have wanted to try it but have honestly forgotten about it when I go buy shampoo. Do you use a shampoo AND a conditioner? How does it smell?

| I have friends who Uncle owns a feed store and they use to use it ALL the time, but we weretold it will cause breakage of your hair and to go look at a horse tail....it was brittle. SO? Needless, to say I never tried it. They have natural THICK and grow fast hair so I wouldn't have been able to tell a difference. Angie

| I bought mine at Walmart for like $6 but it is a really big bottle. It was in the dog section. A local girl here told me they sell it at pet stores and feed stores for like $3 something...either way it is super cheap for a big bottle.

| I used it in the 1980's or 90's (whenever it was popular and first came out), I don't recall anything spectacular from it but it was ok. I don't think I bought a 2nd bottle tho. I did use some Dog Shampoo about a month ago because it was the only bottle of shampoo upstairs and I didn't feel like walking back downstairs to get human shampoo. It was actually pretty decent. Smelled like Oatmeal. |

| I've used it in the past, it has been a while though. I actually have a bottle right now .. I have used it on the dogs. I think I might just have to use it on myself tomorrow now that I'm thinking of it. I'm not big on noticing things about my shampoos so i'm not a good one to review it.

| I use the conditioner on my dogs, and I have used it myself. It smells like a typical balsam-type conditioner. I like it. |

| I love Mane and Tail. I use it on the horses and it works fantastic to get tangles out of manes and tails. I used the conditioner on my hair for years -- until my hair turned silver and now I use a special shampoo and conditioner for silver hair. Mane and Tail was my conditioner of choice the Yorkies as well until I discovered MinkSheen -- now I am sold on that product and have used it exclusively for over two years. I never used the Mane and Tail Shampoo on the Yorkies and stopped using it on my hair because it was too drying. |
