| I have to vent and what better than the pet peeve thread? lol Around our county's mall there and a lot of resturants around it. Well I was driving around the mall trying to leave and this woman in a giant suv pulls out and almost hits me on the side of my car. I was not speeding or anything and I wasn't in a blind spot... she just didn't look. So about 150 feet up there was a stop sign and I was going to turn left to exit the mall. I literally just put my brake on and was barely stopped... the same woman honked at me for stopping at a stop sign. I went because it was my turn and the road was clear and she just drove right on behind me. I think someone needs to reread the drivers book. I was soooo mad! Don't honk at me for knowing how to drive! lol

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | That has happened to me too. In fact the police just watched a 4 way stop close to our house. Now there are orange flags on the stop signs. Ummm if they didn't stop for the stop sign do you think they will stop for the little orange flag on it?????

I go by Lizy or Alyssa (NOT Lizzy, Lizzie, ESPECIALLY NOT ... LIZ) Many people say my name wrong too (Not Alissa, Alicia, Aliza, and NOT MELISSA) My dislikes: 1. when people don't tip 20% when I've busted my a$$ especially for you. 20% is average now-a-days. 2. people take pictures of my babies. Good thing I'm not famous, I'd be in jail for harassing the photogs. 3. when people refuse to be wrong. 4. when people call my 10lb dog fat, he is amazingly fit actually! He is probably in better shape than you. 5. lastly ... I HATE the phrase/word pet-peeve, it gives me the heebee geebees. LOL But that's just me being stupid. | |

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Alrighty. I've got one after the experience I had today. People who find joy in making other people feel bad. After church today, I was in a GREAT mood, and when i was pulling out of the parking lot, I saw this guy standing on the sidewalk with a sign that read "This church leads to Hell!" Everyone else who saw it laughed it off, but it really rubbed me the wrong way.

| Oh I have one from today as well. People who think they are more important than others around them. Come to think of it, something similar happened on Thurs. Thursday we decided to take the day off and hang out in LA. We went to the Farmer's market on 3rd st to eat dinner. We were walking through the stalls and this lady behind us goes "Excuse me, I need to pass" all sternly and crap. Then we let her pass and she doesn't even say thanks for anything! So I go (in my best mocking tone) "Oh you're soooo important" Then on my way to work today as I was waiting for the light to change, i see a guy on his motorcycle facing the wrong way next to the center island (in my side of the street) with bits of debris all around him. There is a guy in a van on the other side of the island facing the other way who stopped to help him. Then this *lady* pulls up behind the van and starts honking and cursing at him! I can see her clearly and read her lips saying "Come on move it @$$hole!" I was shocked! This man is a good samaritan trying to help a guy who's bike is stalled or something! She keeps honking at him, but the guy in the van is a better person than me. He got out, (I thought he was gonna let this lady have it) but instead just got out to help him move his bike over the the sidewalk. I was so close to rolling down my window and yelling back at this lady. Then finally in dawns on her to reverse and change lanes. She was acting like such a *itch even AFTER she saw the guy was trying to help someone out!

| Thor's Human Donating Member | Ah, NYC. Most NYers are pretty polite, but I saw some insane rudeness there. I think the worst was on the subway. This elderly man was trying to push his way onto the subway. The operator had closed the doors, but as many NYers do, he had gotten his arms wedged in and was trying to squeeze in. The doors opened, and this big guy PUSHED THE OLD MAN out of the car! He fell backwards onto his @ss, and it looked like he might have sprained his ankle too. The subway operator saw it, and there were a whole bunch of other subway workers standing around who saw the whole thing. No one did a thing, the operator just closed the doors and we went on our way!
