I cannot handle eating something that I have smelled cooking, I will throw up, I cannot help it. I have had more than one person say that I am "spoiled" because of this  . I cook every meal for him, stay home and raise his (our, lol) kids, I pay the bills (well I get them paid, he makes most of the money ;) ), and take care of the house. How does getting a special meal here and there qualify me as SPOILED?? He is just doing what a good husband should do....apparently they don't know what that's like I guess.

My hubby is pretty good to me too I don't think that means we're spoiled it means we have good husbands and we are blessed.

It bugs me when:

People are talking on their cell phone while driving.:thumbdown

People are talking on their cell phone in stores - LOUDLY - and it's just a conversation. (not an emergency or anything to do with their shopping)

People feel like they have to be on their cell phone at all times! They act like they can't walk from their car to the store without talking on it! What did they do when we didn't have cell phones?

People stand too close to me in any line. (shopping or ATM) I always leave a car length away from the car ahead of me in the ATM line. And when I'm in line - I keep my cart in between me and the person ahead of me. I don't like feeling rushed when I'm putting my receipt/money away and I don't want someone else to do it to me.

People never smile. One of the few things that are free in life and so many act like it's the last one they have and they dare not share it!

People don't use their turn signal - even though I know that they made one for their car that year!

People speed up and slow down when they know you want to get around them. Control issues!

People block the left-hand turn lane by stopping car lengths away from the person in front of them so there's not enough room for you to get around them and the turn lane is "empty".

People drive slowly in the fast lane! Please just move over.

People don't say Please and Thank You!!! The second thing in life that is free and people don't use it.

People take advantage of you when you've held the door open for someone else. Do I look like the door person?

People let their kids go out of the house without their hair combed. (bed head) I may have had my hair pulled back in a ponytail and no make-up on but my kids NEVER went out looking like they just got out of bed!

People always want to one-up you.

People that let their kids run wild or act up in a store. I did not come to that place to listen to your children. I have raised mine and taught them to "behave" - especially when we were out and about. I love children but dislike parents that are not doing their jobs as parents. I had one just last week that let her 3-4 yr old son stand up in the cart and just yell. He wasn't crying - just yelling... and she thought it was funny. I think those people should be asked to leave the store until they can control their children.

#4. Standing to close in the checkout line:

I solve this somewhat by unloading my cart from the front. I put the cart behind me and the person behind must stay that far away or climb in my cart. I don't like people looking over my shoulder, bumping my legs with their cart etc. It's the only way I can protect MY space while I pay.

Agreed. I hate when kids look filthy. Hair stuck to their heads, dirty faces, wearing pajamas in the middle of the day! Come on mom, you can't be THAT busy as to not clean your kids up a bit.

My brother's kids are ALWAYS like that, with dirty faces and clothes as well. The few times they have come to visit both girls' hair is dirty, tangled, filthy faces, and filthy clothes. I rarely get to see my nieces, so I would like to take pictures when I see them. You should see the pics I have :( I would never, ever take my kids out of the house like that! I always feel like with us having so many kids that I have to exceed people's expectations so they don't think bad things about us, so I always make sure my girls look super cute and they are all in nice clothes and cleaned up. My baby girls have all had super fine hair that all matts up the second they get in a carseat too, so that has always made that challenging, but you learn to carry a brush and utilize wet wipes to calm it down. There is no need to show up to someone's house with a "kool aid mustache" koolaid stained clothes, arms, and legs, and matted hair .

I hate it when people ask if I am done having kids YET. The aggrivates me to no end. I pay for my kids...I don't get a sitter...ever....my kids are very very intelligent and polite kids..WHAT IS IT YOUR BUSINESS?

I HATE when people smoke around children, or smoke while pregnant, and pretty much smoking period. If you want to smoke in your house..without kids, go for it. Don't smoke around people that don't want their lungs ruined. I thought they were making it a law at some point that smoking around a child was going to be considered child abuse, same with smoking while pregnant? I worked in restaurant as a waitress for a few years, and I wouldn't even wait on someone if they were there smoking and pregnant. I would let someone else do it. It enrages me.

OMG that happened to me the other day. I was outside the movie theater waiting for my friends and next thing I know the person comes and stands right beside me smoking a cigarette and of course the wind was blowing in my direction... look if someone wants to pollute their lungs, knock themselves out, but don't sacrifice my lungs for your bad habit. Not to mention I'm asthmatic and yes, I had tight breathing for the rest of the evening and the next day.

When people try on every single pair of sunglasses and say "Oh I'm sorry, I'm like trying on every pair of sunglasses" Then make me tell them which one looks good on them. Then when I tell them, they say "Really? Are you sure?" Then they don't buy any, or say "Well I don't have any money today" WTF??? Why did you make me wait on you then? If you knew you weren't going to buy anything, just look, don't bother me!

sugarmamma 07-04-2009 04:11 PM

people who chew gum like a COW chewing it's CUD!

A cruise ship is NOT a boat (you can put a boat on a ship but no ship on a boat!)

bad English (ain't ain't a word!)

bad speling :D

talking about yourself in the third person (Jimmy don't roll like that)

Oh, does that bring back memories! I used to carry a wet washcloth in a baggie, a spray bottle of water and a comb/brush. :D

It is almost always those that feel personally offended like I think I am a better parent by it, or feel guilty because of their own lazy parenting.

I hate it when people tell me what I HAVE to do with my kids, or get angry because I don't let my kids stay the night with theirs. Trust me, if you dare to tell me something I have to do...you can pretty much bet it will now never happen.

People that show up to church for the social scene. If you aren't there for the right reason...don't go.

People that carry fake designer bags and tell everyone they are real. Seriously, do you think I am going to believe you carry a $1000 bag when your family lives in borderline poverty? If you are, I feel bad for your family that you would put a bag as a priority.

People that complain that they cannot find a job anywhere, yet haven't put their resume in anywhere in at least 6 months because of all the lovely unemployment extentions. Don't complain about a system you are clearly taking advantage of.

People that complain about a president based on what the guys at work are saying, or people that vote based on who the guys at work are, and never once research anything for themselves.

And a silly one....when someone pronounces milk "melk", tiolet "tolit" and a few others that are just silly sounding.
It litterally makes me cringe. I want to correct them sooo badly, but I feel like a terrible snob when I get that way.

OMG.... I think it's a Michigan thing! My Dad always said melk, nakin, ruff (roof),ruts (not roots)and Q-pon (coupon) - just regional....but drives me NUTS!

sugarmamma 07-04-2009 05:16 PM

When my bf flips the toilet paper roll around so the end doesn't go down in front and instead comes out the back side. I won't figure it out until i;ve turned the roll around for about 3 times until I go "Dang it he did it again!"
