| We have one and we love it...we also bought the pillows and they are great. The only thing I don't like is it will hold your body heat so it can get quite toasty...that's good in the winter but not so good in the summer. We bought a cover that is supposed to help that but it really doesn't. As far as the comfort of the bed and sleeping better...it's definitely well worth the money. You will sleep so sound and you're actually rested when you get up in the morning. |

| I have a fairly good imitation one -- same quality foam. I love it. I could not believe it really made that much difference. I ordered mine on ebay. Mine feels as good as the Tempur-pedic I tried in the store. I tried to get my son one and wound up with one that is nowhere near as good. So, there is a big difference in the non-name brands. If I get another, I will probably stick with the name brand to make sure he gets a good one too. I am going through an insomnia phase right now so it does not get near the use I would like! For your neck -- try buying a pillow for the type sleeper you are. I bought one (I forget the brand) but it comes in Side Sleeper, Belly Sleeper and Back Sleeper. Since I sleep on my side, I bought that pillow and it really did seem to help my neck.

| We have the Tempur Pedic bed and love it. I feel like I'm sleeping in a comfy nest. The mattress does hold your body heat which is great in the winter and not so good in the summer. We bought the mattress cover they recommend which is like a rubberized waterproof sheet. Then I put a cotton mattress cover over that and the bed stays a lot cooler. It is a very comfortable bed and you feel no movement in the mattress when your bed partner tosses and turns.

| Thanks so much for the replies. I think I may have to just bite the bullet and get one. I would give anything for a really good nights sleep!!!

| Hmmm interesting, but with my hot flashes, maybe this wouldn't be a good choice for me...I just need a good mattress and a good night's sleep and I too was thinking of getting a Tempur Pedic. Now I have to rethink my decision...

| We absolutely adore our tempur pedic bed. It is like sleeping on clouds and whomever said that you cannot feel your bed partner moving is exactly right. My hubby has restless leg syndrome and even with meds, he still moves his legs most of the night and I can't feel a thing. People say it is warmer than a regular mattress, but I don't notice it. I know lots who say that, so I'm sure it is true, but I just don't feel it. We bought an expensive mattress cover from the tempur pedic store. It's one that is water proof (for doggie opps on the bed), so maybe that is why I can't feel the heat from the mattress. It is not plastic or anything, but liquids cannot get through it, so maybe it blocks the heat from the mattress too - idk??? The only thing I notice is that it is harder to turn over in bed. But I don't turn over much at all because I sleep so much better - but when I need to turn, it takes more effort. Anyway, it is WELL worth the investment. They have a 30 day trial period, so if you don't like it, then you can return it (they will come pick it up). I forgot to mention, if you have your doctor write a prescription that you need it for your back (or whatever), then you don't have to pay sales tax on the bed (at least in Texas we didn't have to).
