Donating YT 500 Club Member | Well, looking at it from age 57, I'd go with number 1. It is dressy and festive plus I think it's classy for a middle-aged bride. Not only that but it has a look that you can wear again when you want to feel that fluttery, bridal feeling! (I married at 35 but chose a short "church" dress and never regretted it a minute...in fact, I loved wearing it again!) Also, it will look just great in photos with a new husband clad in a suit and tie. All the choices are lovely but number 1 just strikes me as a classier look. However, how you feel in each is the important part. Try to focus on how you "feel" in each and don't depend on how you think you look. The radiance and beauty of the day will shine regardless of the clothing as long as you feel beautiful. One of those dresses will make you feel like a princess...go with your heart. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and best wishes for the future! |

YT 1000 Club Member | I'm almost 45 and I see #1 or #2 as great possibilities. #3 would be a little too clingy and show off the bulges if you have any (I know I do)! I really love #2 because as it's been said before it has an elegance to it. It could actually be slimming through the mid section because it can conceal tummy problems. Congrats to you and let us know which one you choose. Maybe you can share some wedding photos afterwards?? I don't think the groom has to wear a tux sometimes a nice suit is more becoming or slacks, dress shirt and tie. Good Luck!!

| Update... I have #1 and #3 and have tried on both. #3 is the winner so far. The website I ordered from said it would look good on my body shape and they were right. If I could lose 10 lbs. or find a good girdle it would look perfect. It is just beautiful and not likely to wrinkle. #1 is kind of a cheap fabric, turned out to be a full length skirt (because I am so short) and the fabric gets static and wrinkles like you would not believe. I actually looked slimmer in #3 than #1. The jury is still out as I am waiting on #2. Will keep you posted!

| Congrats! You know, we'll want to see pics of you in whichever one you pick! I like one and two, but think I like two just a little more. They are all very pretty! Edited: Oops, I just saw that you tried number 3 and it fit well! Well, it's very pretty too and I would say whichever dress looks fabulous is the one to go with! Can't wait to hear the final outcome.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I don't know if you have a Kohl's store near you but they sell a one piece undergarment that will not leave any waist or panty line, or you could try a pair of high waist spanx from somewhere like Lane Bryant with dress 3.

| I like the second choice the best. I think the outfit is sophisticated. Last edited by JoshieBoy; 06-10-2009 at 03:15 AM. |

| All the best to both of you. What great wedding plans. #3 definitely says "bride" #1 is pure sophistication Which look are you going for?
