I'm headed over to the HSOUS to cancel my subscription and to send a note to Wayne Pacelle that I will neither contribute nor support their organization again. I know one person won't make a difference to them but it will make me feel better!! |
Hey, We live in Atlanta and I think he should have been put in a dogfight in prison himself and stayed there. At least the Falcons won't let him play here anymore. He will probably go to a team that has all the players that get arrested. A lot of people here still support him and even let their children wear his jerseys. |

Let me guess, the Kansas City Chiefs?? Lol i'm from the KC, MO area, but i can't stand the way those players act and get away with it, but they have a new manager and coach that's pretty much vowed to make these guys cut the crap, hopefully they'll be a little bit better now |
I'm not surprised by the news. The NFL is a business. Are we really shocked they chose to make a money based decision over a moral based decision? Roger Goodell did set some "conditions", but I feel Vick will be playing full on by week eight of the season. The only thing he needs is a team to see past his (well earned) stigma and he will be playing again. I just hope it's not for my team ! |
"In testimony before the bankruptcy judge, Vick acknowledged committing a "heinous" act and said he should have acted more maturely." Give me a freakin break! He STILL hasn't said he is sorry. Act more maturely? OMG does he even know that want he did was cruel and nothing short of barbaric? Does he even know that heinous means EVIL? And of course he will be playing again. It is all about the money. I think that NO ONE should be allowed to play professional sports if they have a criminal record. Athletes have too much influence on the youth in this country! I think I am going to write a letter to every team owner and tell them what I think of Vick and them if they even consider hiring him although he probably already has a deal. sigh |

Another NFL Team Says No to Michael Vick - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com |
Well the above good news was short lived:twisted: Michael Vick 'getting close' to finding new team - NFL - SI.com Why am I not surprised:( |

you can bet the NFL cares nothing about what Vick did - nothing. |
This is why college football ( go dawgs) is so much better. Most of the players aren't corrupted yet and they love playing the game. |
I watched the news the other night and saw MV practicing for the upcoming season. Don't know what team it was for because I turned it off with disgust! It's so frustrating that the NFL has no compassion for those innocent dogs all they think about is $$$$$. Yes, MV did, horriffically torture and kill some of his dogs because they lost a fight. What he did to them makes me ill. In my heart I know he has no remorse for what he did. That's who he is. There is no way my child would be wearing his # on their backs! I'd burn the shrit if they ever brought it home. Anyone who condones what this evil man has done, IMO, is as bad as he is. Someone mentioned about the NFL starting a team for those player's who were in jail, they could call it "THE CELL BLOCK LOOSER'S". Maybe going up against other NFL teams they would all get the starch taken out of them. Now that's a game I would watch. I hope this SOB sit's on the bench the rest of his life and thinks about all he once had and now has ziltch! It's just what he deserves. |

Now I think our Seattle members need to start a letter-writing campaign. |
This was just an hour ago. I don't think our new coach would take him but he only has so much to say. If they do, I will #$^&&** Michael Vick News - Topix |

I sometimes think as dog lovers we are living in a bubble but happy I feel the way I do about Vick. I was thinking just a few minutes ago that as a franchise owner having him on the team with the economy causing less tickets sales in baseball and I assume will happen with some football teams he would be a draw (sick as it may sound) It would bring out the ones that want to boo him, the curious to see all of this and the macho group who wants to see just how tough he is. Please someone tell me I'm wrong!! |
I am so disgusted by that looser!!! It would be such a disgrace to have him in ANY team... Grrrrrrrrrrrr... hope the f***er get what he deserved one day... |
I remember the first time Jim McMann played against the Chicago Bears after he was traded. When everyone left the field he hung back and the crowd went nuts. He was cheered more that anyone else that day. Having said the above I can only hope that the opposite would be true of a foul monster like Vick. I can imagine the crowd booing him on/off the field. I can further imagine the booing throwing off his game! I can dream can't I? Of course my fondest wish is that he fall down an elevator shaft before anyone signs him but that isn't likely to happen. |
Ok Lou, you walk him to the door and I'll push:D just kidding, I think his maker when his time comes will give him and extra sentence over and above 19 months. lol |
Patriots coach Bill Belichick still evading Michael Vick topic - NFL - SI.com His hometown in Va. is planning a celebration for him. they must not have much to celebrate. |
Quote:
How do you celebrate someone who maimed, strangled and murdered a living breathing creature? What kind of people would even have an appitite? |

the sad thing is there are thousands out there just like him |
this is the link and it makes me boiling mad. Organizers plan Michael Vick 'celebration' in his hometown - NFL - SI.com |

:sickie: |
I hope no one shows up then they can all say GOTCHA Vick - did ya really think we love you ? Being a football player is no more special than those working at a normal joe blow job - they just get the glory and huge paychecks then set bad examples for all the kids who idolize them. That town must be really needing a reason to celebrate if they have to resort to putting Vick on a pedestal. Maybe they should celebrate all the DOGS That were saved and not the killer of them |
I know V, it is really scary that there are people out there like that and I'm afraid there are alot. When he gets out there playing, I won't be as happy about the boos as I will be upset about the cheers. What are we teaching our kids and grandkids. ( I shouldn't have said we because we are not but others are) |
Well maybe we can't stop him playing but I'd sure like to help stop that celebration in his hometown. :) Some good news Michael Vick homecoming in Virginia postponed - NFL - SI.com I am sending an email to the city chamber of commerce. |
