| Plant experts: Tillandsia help needed I ordered several air plants from eBay. One of them arrived with the majority of the ends looking brownish-black- almost like they were covered with mold. It isn't textured- the damage is at the same level as the place. On this one plant and another (first three pictures), it looks like the roots and several of the bottom leaves are rotting off. On the other plant, it arrived seeming very dry. I soaked all of the plants for 4 hours as suggested by the seller. I also soaked both of these particular plants for a few additional hours earlier today. The plant in the fourth picture seems to be doing OK except the ends are beginning to dry out on a lot of the ends. Any suggestions?

| I have no idea Kyle. Do you have a Research and Extension office to contact? Maybe a nursery?

| I actually contacted the seller as well and he said the one plant looks like it has root rot and the other one isn't too bad. He offered to replacement so I think I might just toss them. Thank you.

| I'm happy to hear that the seller is going to work with you. Not everyone seems to understand the concept of customer service.
