Well, I hope they outlaw that horrible variety of fish that was released in Maryland and that will eat anything....I forget what it is called, but it could disrupt the entire ecosystem.

Alot of stuff we have is illegal, just gets smuggled in and sold. Then the owners don't want it but can't turn it in since it's illegal so they dump it somewhere.

I don't think this will ever pass... who has the time and the money to enforce this when our country is under diress in sooo many other ways? I wouldn't worry about it just yet. I am sure there are higher priorities. I hope!!!

I'd like to see some money dumped into the shelters that are in such bad repair they had no heat this winter, etc.

I was pretty surprised at a previous post expressing concern that pet stores could be affected negatively. Animal lovers should want to see the end to every store that sells animals.
