| I'm so clumsy I went downstairs to groom Odie and I tripped over a water bottle. One of those bottles for the water coolers. Well, I was stepping over one and I brought my foot down too soon I guess and really banged my foot on it. I really hurt my toe, I don't know if I sprained it or maybe fractured it or something. Has anyone ever broken a toe or fractured one? I can't really bend it without it hurting and it's bruised. I have never fractured anything ever and I'm not sure how it feels. I really should go to the doc to get it checked. If it still feels like this tomorrow I'm going to go through emergency. I just cannot believe how clumsy I am and how I actually managed to hurt it. On a water bottle....goodness. |

| I broke my pinky toe once. I couldn't move it and it swelled up 3 times its size. I had to actually wear flip flops for a few weeks. I would get it checked by your doctor, but I don't think they can usually do too much for a broken toe. I was just being stupid when I did it. It happened when I was 16. I was trying to flip up the front of a shopping cart, like a pop-a-wheelie, and the cart fell onto its 'back' and slammed down on my toe. OW!

| My daughter broke 2 toes in school once and there is nothing they do for that. They don't cast it or splint it. It just has to take it's course to heal. It got all swollen and really black and blue. Just ice and advil is all we did. I just tripped over the stupid dog gate and almost went flying. Hope your foot feels better soon.

| That's what I figured, they can't really do much for a toe, just let it heal. I didn't go in, I don't think it's broken, it didn't swell too bad. It sure feels weird though. But given time, it'll heal. |
