| Anyone else sitting in the dark tonight for Earth Hour? Sitting in the dark - how about you? Are you participating in Earth Hour? Lights out across the world for 1 hour at 8:30 pm - regardless of your time zone Earth Hour It is part of the concern for climate change - not so concerned about that - but I do care about saving energy & the impact we each have by so many lights on in our homes

| We are!!! My dh has been laughing at me about it all day... but about 10 minutes ago he reminded me to turn off the lights (and asked if we could still keep the computers on LOL) We were trying to figure out why it is at 8:30 and not on the hour... |

| I turned every light on in the house, ran the washer and dryer, dish-washer. etc. It may be Earth Day, but when they link it to global warming, that just does it for me.

| SophieKate, Avery and I participated in Earth hour. We turned off everything and SophieKate and I went outside and took a walk in the dark with my neighbor and her Silky Terrier. It was very strange how dark our neighborhood was...we both noticed. Almost peaceful. Poor Avery, he has stay home in the dark and sleep on the bed.

| I must be out of the loop or something, because I didn't even know about it. I would have done it though. It would have gotten my son and husband off video games for an hour.

| I'm feeling kind out of the loop too! This is the first that I've heard of Earth Hour. I'm off to go check out that link to figure out what I'm missing!

| I hadn't heard of it before this week - I guess this was the 3rd yr for it. I' sure like other things it started small, and will grow. But it is a good reminder of how much we don't need the lights on - when we are sitting watching tv or on the computer
