| Pain in my side! Yesterday I started getting a very sporadic pain in my side, right where my appendix is. I really really do not think thats what it is though. It is very random and sporadic, and only lasts a second, litterally a second, maybe half of one even. I don't feel sick, no fever, just random sharp jab with no warning. There is no pain when I press on that area either This is the crazy part, just about a half hour ago my husband started getting the same thing! I thought he was making fun of me because he let out a loud yell, which is what I have been doing when I get the pain (yes it hurts that bad!!!). Then he comes in and asks me if I am getting my pain right "there" and points to the spot where it hurts. How the heck are we getting the same crazy pain in the same spot? I litterally double over and yell, and its over super quick. You can see why he was laughing at me, I look like a moron. And I am no wimp, I had my kids with no pain meds whatsoever...well except my one csection and they made me have an epidural for a vbac, but otherwise 4 100% drug free labors and this stupid little pain has me in tears! And it can go hours without hurting, then BAM! Crazy. Any ideas?

| 1. Maybe its viral--sounds odd though with no fevers or other symptoms. What makes me think its viral is you both are having the same thing. 2. Maybe its something you both ate? 3. Or it could be pulled muscle and hubby is feeling sympathy pains. I'd say if it continues or have other symptoms-call your doctor. A few years back both me and my husband woke with palpitations in our chest. Felt like heart hiccups? Both of us were laid out on the sofa all day and every time we stood up, we'd feel faint and lose color in our faces. His resolved that night; however, mine continued so I saw cardiologist and he said there were frequent premature ventricular beats and I have been on medication for them ever since. Virus?? maybe-there was no telling for sure. Weird, huh! |
