| Snow is coming!! Sure it's almost April, but SNOW IS COMING!!! And I am EXCITED! Our winter was horrible, hardly no snow at all and now almost the entire state of Kansas has blizzard conditions! We haven't gotten anything yet, but it should start in a few hours! Untitled.jpg

| Woohoo! Congrats! That's great! Now, seein' as how I'm from the south, would you please explain to me WHY you're so excited about snow? Down here if ONE teeny tiny snowflake falls the whole town shuts down, school closes, and you can't get in the grocery store because everyone goes crazy buying milk and bread.

I guess I don't know why I'm so excited but I am! Winter has always been my favorite time of the year and I can not express how depressing this winter was. I love being out in it and then warming up inside with a warm blanket and hot cocoa! I guess it's also an excuse to use the 4 wheel drive and tear up some country roads! Around here, it takes ALOT of snow before things close down.

| I know, right? Weather is so unpredictable! Yesterday it was 60 degrees and I went to class wearing a t-shirt.

| We're supposed to get some "flurries" here in North Texas...if they haven't taken it out of the forecast. I am not holding my breath though...I hope we don't have another repeat of last year...had a mild winter and then April 8th we got 10 inches! Enjoy your snow!

| I'm in Oklahoma and we are supposed to get some snow. Geez, back in February we had a tornado here and now snow. This has been a crazy winter for us........one day it's 85 and the next it's 30. Can't make up it's mind if it wants to be winter or spring. I'll take snow over tornados any day. Have fun in your snow. Make a snow angel. Cindy |

| No, thank goodness we didn't get the bad weather that you got. The tornado that went through Ardmore in February, missed us by 200 yards. We had some roof damage and alot and I mean alot of other peoples homes in our yard. Destroyed a school right around the bend from us. We were hovering in the hallway. Needless to say, we are getting a storm shelter put in. I hope you were safe during the bad weather you just had. They say it's going to be an active tornado season this year. Just what I need to hear. Stay safe. Oh, and I am in Gainesville all the time........and Lewisville. Cindy Last edited by cinigee; 03-29-2009 at 11:06 AM. Reason: Mispelled words |

| Dh said we would have had over 1 ft. of snow if it hadn't rained/sleeted in the middle of the storm. When I cleaned an area off for the doggies to potty in it came off in layers.....snow, ice, then another layer of snow. It was about 10 inches thick. The snow was sooooo heavy that dh had a difficult time using his man-toy (front-end loader) to move the snow off our yard. It's the nasty KS wind that makes it miserable. Much has melted today because the temp was over 40 degrees. Now the ground where the doggies go is soaked, mushy and ugly. Thank goodness there is grass there but still......
