| Opinions....please!! So money has been tighter then usual lately and I was thinking about getting a part-time job...but since I am taking some classes at night and so is my bf (diff. nights)....I don't want to be away from Maximus. I was thinking about working out of home...doing billing, proposals and estimates (Quickbooks) for contractors. This is my full - time job..I do propsals, P.O.'s, Billing, Accounts Recievable and Payable, answering phones and everything else in the office for a flat salary..but I was thinking that is is a service maybe I could do bi-weekly on a Sat. for contractors..collect the paperwork import it into my system at home , make them a hard copy (I can send to their clients via email) and a copy on a memory stick so if they have Quickbooks all they have to do is upload my work. It sounds like a good idea to me but I was looking for some other opinions??

| I think it's great that you are looking at all your options, responsibilites, etc, while keeping Maximus a priority too. Your ideas of working from home part time sound excellent!

| Thanks..for the support...I don't want Maximus to be alone too much.... he is used to seeing at least one of us for most of the day and I want to keep it like that!! The 3 days that he is by himself for a 3-4 hours...make me upset enough and it is not a necessity but would just feel good to have some money in savings..lol

| Sam I think you should do it! Go for it. Working from home might really work well. I told you on the phone that I've gotten inspired to have a dog walking business. Coco and I will both have fun with that and it will get me some extra money on the side. I totally understand the money being tight situation. I say go for it, there are so many unorganized people in this world, they can use the help..haha

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I think it's a GREAT IDEA ...I have a friend who does this - If you can do everything via fax and email - you're all set. She does it that way and uses Quickbooks also and it works out great - she only has to go onsite every week or so and everything else is done without her physically there. She makes GREAT money doing this also. Once you build up a few clients - word spreads. |
