Where did you read it at? If our daughter hasn't found it yet I bet she'd love to read it. She just stopped by to pick up her DVD.

Yep...I really enjoyed it and can't wait for her to finish it. (Now that she finally hinted around that she would.) It really does give you a different perspective on the whole siutation! Also read all the sections that were edited out and the 'extras' that she wrote.

She also plans to never finish the book either. I think it explains it on her site.

Nope, never said that on her site, although that seems to be how many have translated it. It said the book was "on hold indefinately," but not that she would never finish it. However, in a more recent interview, she stated that she would likely "sneak off" and finish it when she thought people had forgotten about it

Okay, do I need to read the books and see the movie? I cannot believe the stuff surrounding the Twilight thing! I love vampire stuff though - read ALL the Anne Rice vampire books. Is this a must read? Should I see the movie first?

YES you should read them...and you should DEFINATELY read the books first. (At least the first one, THEN watch the movie.) The movie takes for granted that you "know" alot of what is going on already and it's really fast paced, otherwise you might be a bit lost.

He statement regarding completing Midnight Sun:
So my goal is to go for, like, I don't know, two years without ever hearing the words Midnight Sun. And once I'm pretty sure that everyone's forgotten about it, I think I'll be able to get to the place where I'm alone with it again. Then I'll be able to sneak in and work on it again.

im super excited! read all the books...saw the movie at midnight...saw again a few more times lol...going to the midnight dvd release party. yes i know im a nerd haha but i love me some rob pattinson!

You guys actually liked the movie? No offense, but I thought it was absolutely horrible. I've never seen a movie with such bad acting. I actually enjoyed reading the book but the movie was not for me.

I thought the opposite, loved the movie but the books are ok. But then I think I mostly love the movie because Robert Pattinson is so gorgeous. Yum!!

No offense, but I thought it was absolutely horrible. I've never seen a movie with such bad acting. I actually enjoyed reading the book but the movie was not for me.
