My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Need ideas for a Pink and Brown room - Would love to see pictures! So I am remodeling a bedroom into my closet AND puppy nursery. The room is 10 x 12, small I know but it will work both for my clothes and my puppy nursery, when babies will be delevered and live until they go to their new homes. I don't let the pup in the Yorkie bedroom, just for safety issues. Soooooo I was thinking Brown and Pink? What do you think??? We are re-dry walling and new trim and everything, so I am working with a clean slate. I'd love to see pictures and hear your ideas!!! Please The floor I already picked out. It will be a linoilium that looks like hardwood. I have to have flooring like this so that the pee and poo messes will be ok and easy to clean. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Funny you should pick those colors. Our daughter is getting married and just the other day she picked chocolate brown with pink and champaign as her colors. The girls will wear brown and carry champaign flowers, and the men will wear brown with champaign shirts/ties and she will wear a champaign gown and carry pink flowers.

| I must be attracted to those colors too - I bought a darling pink & brown diamond print hair bow from Katy's Mom last summer at the big YT meetup in KC - had nothing for Roxy to wear with it - just loved it. Then about a mth ago, I found this darling pink & brown dress for her on e-bay. It wasn't until after I ordered it - I remembered the bow - well, guess what?? The dress is in diamond patterns too! I really like that diamond pattern - it would maybe even be an easy thing for someone to create as a boarder pattern somewhere in a room

| I painted my daughter's a dark khaki....I call Areopostle khaki...lol and just used pink accents...her bedding is pink w/ hula monkeys. I actually took a piece of my car that snaped on and off and had them scan it for the color....b/c it wasen't brown, but DARK khaki. It turned out great.....I don't have any pics. Just if you see a color you like in your car or around your house, etc.... bring it in and they can scan and make the color. I went with that color b/c it will go with plum/purple, red, etc...when she wants a change. Angie Last edited by Angela; 03-14-2009 at 11:05 AM. |

| My daughter too My daughter is moving into her brothers old room and is in the process of painting the walls pink with brown carpet, comforter and curtains. I wasn't sure of the color combo. But it seems to look very pretty together. It has to be better than the pastel polka dot walls in her old room LOL |

| One of my friends did a pink and brown room. She did the walls brown I believe and had a couple of different color pinks and browns in squares around the whole room. It was awesome.

| I LOVE the pink and brown color combination. I don't have a room like that but when I'm out shopping, I've noticed I'm drawn to it. I have bought some clothes for my daughter in pink and brown and also some hairbows. Come to think of it... I bought Ginger (my furbaby) a pink and brown sweater. Please post pics when you are done. It sounds like a great project. I would LOVE to have a huge closet like that. WOW!

| I recently saw somethng that looked really great and could be fun for a dog nursery. You paint the walls a solid color I would do the walls in the brown on the walls they blocked out squares around 24x24 I would paint those in the pink and they put picures in the squares and you can change the pictures with each litter. Or make smaller squares and keep all the pictures with the names and dates they were born or addopted. |

| My neice did her nursery in pink and brown with sock monkeys...I don't have any pictures though. One thing you might want to do in your puppy room is cover the bottom part of the wall with plexiglass...that will protect the wall from scrtaches, nibbles or leg lifting. |
