Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Want to clear something up !!! This post was in the Missy Elliot Thread in Gen Disc. SORRY IT's SO LONG !! I NEED to clear the air about this post - While the person said it in the nicest way - It told me something I didn't know. I didn't know I was being considered controversial here on yorkietalk and want to CLEAR THE AIR because that really bothers me ...so I copied my answer and put it here for people to read below but wanted to address this first. Some of the threads I've been in DO get controversial. In the future there are just certain things I'm going to stay away from - I will always be against Mills and Pet Stores selling live animals but there really have been some threads recently that I just should have NOT posted in and will try not to anymore - they go nowhere and only continue to create drama. That is SO NOT ME. I would much rather be lauging or reading good information than defending certain things over and over. The last thing I EVER want to be is labled as 'controversial'. I'm not - far from it - I get along with EVERYONE in my life and on yorkie sites....in the future will be watching how I post as I would rather be considered as an asset to a board.....not a person who likes drama. I don't like it and I sure don't want to have a rep as someone who is involved in it. So for those who have that opinion - I hope you can see things a bit differently after this thread. I know there are certain people who already made their minds up - but I hope those people have open minds. And I, for one, don't find you controversial AT ALL! Well rounded, kind-hearted and way FUNNY!!! My original Response I do get a bit passionate about certain things - and try to center the passion on 'controversaries' that I feel very strongly about which always will be Pet Stores and Puppy Mills - I think there are those of us who do speak out but it doesn't mean we like debating - I personally do NOT....the only debates I really get into usually involve the same subjects. I'd perfer to be helping people and laughing then be involved in drama and I spend ALOT of time offsite doing pictures for members who need help etc...I feel bad if people think I like controversary and maybe will need to stay away from certain posts in the future. If you knew me in person - I'm VERY VERY easy going. too easy going sometimes - My husband says I joke around TOO much but I LOVE making people laugh. If I can make someone smile everyday - then I'm happy.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I need to add....someone pointed out to me that I have tons of posts - I Do. I've been on yorkie sites for 2-1/2 years now. I probably DO have upwards of 15 thousand posts and in that amount - I get along GREAT with 99.9% of the people I talk to. In these past years - I have never been considered controversial and don't want to start now so I hope for those who had that Idea - maybe this post will give you a different view. It's very hard to really know someone on the net - but usually with me - what you see is what you get - the 'drama's in between are very NOT part of my personality. I'm a lover not a fighter |

I dont know what this is all about, I must not have read them all but, I do believe that everyone is intitled to there own opinions and believes, so you should not feel bad for that. Just wanted to say I think your nice and funny!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Thank you !! This is more for anyone who thinks I post in 'controversaries' because I enjoy it - I DON'T !!! It's NOT something in particular - I do post against Mills and Pet Stores all the time - maybe I just need to tone it down some - I just don't want people having the wrong idea when they see my name - I know this is a small community and I really love being a part of it - I'm the kind of person that likes things out in the open - which is why I posted this thread. For the laugh - THIS is another reason I need to tone things down a bit. |

Your loving personality shines here on Yorkie Talk! We all love and adore your friendship here...and you have helped me with so many questions about owning my first Yorkie~ Your like sunshine on this board...I had to go back and re-read the Miss Elliot Thread...because we are close to the same age...and ...lol.....I told you that I have to go to MTV.com to find stuff my kids talk about~ lol The threads on this forum that have turned controversial....is in no way because of you.... Some of the threads I've seen started...and then the poster will sit back and just watch the discussion ensue...(thats the part that bothers me most) So what we wind up with is many folks here on YT supporting each other by the trail of dust that comes from those type threads.. Your a doll...a true sweetheart...and I think 99.9% of us know that... I usually don't respond to the ones that I know will become that way...and if this one does...then we will see just who is controversial ~ My main concern...right now..is that this is a Holiday Weekend...and you are bugged by this one comment that the poster meant in the nicest way....and I think some of us are still smarting from the events from the last few weeks.. You keep being your wonderful self...I for one love you to death...and feel like I know Chanel, Cheri, & Tessa from the wonderful stories you share... I can't seem to get enough of seeing your girls...or hearing about them...and yes... I'm the first in line to purchase ONE OF THE SPY GIRLS BOOKS!!!! yorkie hugs your way....

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I SO agree Melissa and thank you for saying that. There is really so much in our country right now that I wasn't going to even post ....but sometimes we just need escape and this is a perfect place to get it - This site should not be used for Podiums and I have been guilty of speaking up over some things but with this SAD state of our country - That's one reason I thought today was a good time to say what I said - We all need to be thankful we are safe and have good lives......we have enough drama in REAL LIFE and don't need to see it here. There'll probably always be minor differences of opinions - and I'm glad to say I'm not involved in every thread that has controversary. If done in a healthy way - people can learn from it..... but some do get a little off subject and I have been guilty of that also - so I wanted to apologise for that.

| Villette - I can't believe that someone would call you controversial. if stating your own opinion for the good of yorkies/animals then go for it! You have always been helpful to me. Your posts are ones I always try to read! You created picture frames for my avitar and was your own idea - you came to me asking to help me! You would be terribly missed - here at YT! We love ya! Someone told me (because I am a type of person that tries to please Everyone and get upset with myself when I can't) - that you Cannot please Everyone - and this is okay. All you can do - is be yourself and be the best person you can. I think you are doing just fine! T. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | YOU guys are the best - it takes all of us for a good site....and while we do have many many personalities here - I just wanted you all to know that mine is usually ALWAYS what you see - I love people and I do hope that shows. Thank you for replying - I wasn't wanting to sound too dramatic - but I DID want to address this. Thank you. |

| My 2 cents!! I have been a member for EONs! In the beginning, it didn't take ten minutes to read and comment on all the posts for an entire day!! I vividly remember when Villette joined! Sometimes there were days when, if it had not been for her cheerful, witty posts ... my day would not have had a single bright spot!! I believe that I can [because of lots of personal interaction both on the board and off] vouch for the fact that she is absolutely not controversial but very caring, compassionate and hysterically funny!! Her heart is always in the right place and for this reason, I have also seen her "baited" and drawn in by controversial "debates" while her posts are from the heart, they are either misunderstood or twisted to mean something entirely different! Villette, we who know you already know that you aren't controversial but a very sincere, caring ... "nut" ... and I do mean that in a "good way"!! If anyone would judge you, perhaps they should get to know you first?! We love you!
