There are hot button topics that are always going to be a factor, but the biggest reason I post here is to try to learn new things and help educate others if I can. You are always the best at having a sensible outlook and your humor is invaluable. Please don't get all tactful on us now! It'll be a snoozefest.

I didn't know I was being considered controversial here on yorkietalk and want to CLEAR THE AIR because that really bothers me ...so I copied my answer and put it here for people to read below but wanted to address this first.

Some of the threads I've been in DO get controversial. In the future there are just certain things I'm going to stay away from - I will always be against Mills and Pet Stores selling live animals but there really have been some threads recently that I just should have NOT posted in and will try not to anymore - they go nowhere and only continue to create drama. That is SO NOT ME. I would much rather be lauging or reading good information than defending certain things over and over.

The last thing I EVER want to be is labled as 'controversial'. I'm not - far from it - I get along with EVERYONE in my life and on yorkie sites....in the future will be watching how I post as I would rather be considered as an asset to a board.....not a person who likes drama. I don't like it and I sure don't want to have a rep as someone who is involved in it. So for those who have that opinion - I hope you can see things a bit differently after this thread. I know there are certain people who already made their minds up - but I hope those people have open minds.

I do get a bit passionate about certain things - and try to center the passion on 'controversaries' that I feel very strongly about which always will be Pet Stores and Puppy Mills - I think there are those of us who do speak out but it doesn't mean we like debating - I personally do NOT....the only debates I really get into usually involve the same subjects.

I'd perfer to be helping people and laughing then be involved in drama and I spend ALOT of time offsite doing pictures for members who need help etc...I feel bad if people think I like controversary and maybe will need to stay away from certain posts in the future.

If you knew me in person - I'm VERY VERY easy going. too easy going sometimes - My husband says I joke around TOO much but I LOVE making people laugh. If I can make someone smile everyday - then I'm happy.

Vilette...you're a Hoot! I myself...do not believe HALF the things they say about you! (Did you really do a "Hoochie" dance for the Govenor of Texas?) :lol tears

I must have missed that thread you talking about, i never go into threads to read that i think will turn sour, i love this site, and i love to see yorkie pics and read stories, i ALWAYS read your threads and look at pics of your girls, your posts are hilarious and your girls remind me of mine SO much, they crack me up :D

I adore Villette, and wasn't the one lobbing labels at her. I just wanted her to know how much I appreciate her humor, her heart and her advice.

Villette, I'm not going to read all these posts. They all say the same thing, we love you. Let me backtrack a little here. LOL All of them that I read say the same thing and I can't imagine them changing. I just wanted to put my vote in for "Villette for President"! See I missed all the good stuff when I was away....just wanted to say a)..you're not controversial and some of the threads that you and many others have been a part of have become controversial in many instances not due to you...but due to a point of view being argued for what seems like arguments sake..and basically just drawing responses from me, you and others...IMHO (I'm sure you know what I mean)...I think you are GREAT..your stories crack me up and you are compleetly hialrious and goofy...if anyone reads certain "controversial" thread they can see it is not you!@!!! LOVE YOU!!! :)
