| Looking for a good video editor. Know of any? I want to start posting some of my pet videos on youtube and yorkie talk, but I look up video editors and there are so many I dont know which ones are good. The video editor that comes with windows doesnt work on my computer. I guess its a bug on my version that I cant seem to find a fix for. What do you use? I want to be able to mix up clips together or still pictures. I also want to add text, music. I would like to also be able to create a dvd with them.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Bump! C'mon, SOMEBODY's gotta know the answer to this one! I told her I use a mac, so I couldn't help. But does someone else have a recommendation? At work, they use Final Cut Express, but I think that's more of a high-end application.

| There are a couple that I would recommend. Ulead makes some very nice video editing software, it is very user friendly, and they have basic versions up to advanced. Here is one, lots of bang for the buck, and similar interface to Windows Movie Maker: VideoStudio X2 - Video Editing Sony also has some nice basic video editors that do all you are asking: the learning curve is a little steeper on Sony, not quite as intuitive, but a veeeery good editor Sony Creative Software - Vegas Movie Studio 9 - Introduction

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I got several that came with the computer, and this is one is my favorite. I think it's the easiest to edit. WinDVD Creator 3 - Corel Corporation . My son bought me the Roxio, Roxio - DVD Burning & CD Burning Software - Creator & Toast Software which is supposed to be really good, but I still can't figure it out. I would look for one that gives free trial versions and see if that's what you are looking for before you purchase it.
